  1. Possibly but where is it that you're testing the speeds, is it on Connection Benchmark or speedtest.net for example?
  2. That decision belongs to Netgear so I couldn't answer that but I haven't heard anything about ending support and we have plans for firmware yet to come so I don't think it's anything you need to worry about!
  3. Hey, welcome to the forum! Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?
  4. Not sure if that's a question for us or not but we're not going to interfere with game mechanics. We made some new banners for the Nighthawk and R2 Early Access groups so you'll now get the banner for your group or the R2 banner if you're in both groups.
  5. You can find the firmware versions here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx#download so you can try the manual update and see if that works for you
  6. Desconecte el enrutador de la alimentación durante 24 horas, luego conéctelo, espere 2 minutos y vea si hace lo mismo. En algunos casos, dejarlo desenchufado durante tanto tiempo puede devolverlo a la vida.
  7. That's not too bad at all really, the ping is slightly higher but that just may be your ping to the Google server (which we use for the test) and so could be lower elsewhere. Other than that it looks to be quite stable so not a cause for concern really.
  8. It's very unlikely to be honest but thanks for the kind words!
  9. ¿Cuándo comenzó a ocurrir exactamente el problema? ¿Después de un corte de energía, actualización de firmware, cambio de configuración, etc.?
  10. Great to hear that! The R2 is definitely better supported currently, a worthy upgrade in my opinion!
  11. Hey, welcome to the forum! Do try the method Tray suggested - it's exactly what I would have advised you to do. Let us know how you get on!
  13. Interesting okay, I think it would be good to try the Early Access firmware as if it's still an issue on that then we can debug it more easily
  14. Yes but if you change firmware version to check if any of them are more stable for you or do they all have the issue? You've checked it's only connecting using HTTP?
  15. It's not really doing anything in that case, could be that QoS enabled means packets are being analyzed/processed and that additional processing may be giving you a slight delay, not enough to have any sort of lag but perhaps enough to give you a slight lag compensation benefit.
  16. Sí, es para WiFi, no debería haber mucha diferencia de ping, pero si funciona mejor para ti, ¡es genial! Intente habilitar la opción Aplicar a WAN para Normal y Juegos/Voz y vea si eso mejora aún más.
  17. So you've disabled Congestion Control and Traffic Prioritization completely?
  18. Could you provide a screenshot like the first one so it's not squashed, then we'll have a better idea of where you are at. Also, are you using the Geo-Filter at all?
  19. Glad to hear that! Okay forget TFTP then for the moment, try the HTTP force and check some of the previous versions, I would recommend you do a factory reset if you do change firmware, it clears out any remnants of the previous version that may cause issues
  20. I don't know your personal experience or that of any other customer and have to troubleshoot given what is being said at the time, you suggested the guide may not be as clear to an end user so I just wanted to double check some details. If you do the reset in the place I mentioned that should get the light to flash once turned on. Otherwise, there are quite a few firmware versions you can choose from to see if they are more stable for you: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/xr300.aspx#download It's also worth mentioning that if your browser is forcing connections to use HTTPS this could be causing the problem, if you double check your browser does this and disable it if it does then re-try the interface using HTTP and see if it loads without error.
  21. Did you change the directory on command prompt to be the same as the location of the file? Did you enable TFTP on Windows itself? Between steps 7-9 hold the reset button and then let go on step 9 when that's complete then carry on and see if that works
  22. Great to hear that, thanks for the update, you're very welcome!
  23. The Ping Test is a test of your line so how stable it is without any factors on your side taken into consideration so how good the line is from your internet provider basically and as such it's not something you can influence on your side. Could you provide a screenshot? Then I can advise whether it's something I would recommend you contact the ISP about.

  25. What time did the disconnect occur roughly in the log so we can pinpoint the entries
