RPC error `Error_Validation`: Network is not private
Netduma Fraser replied to b3llb0y's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I'll get a response for you on this on Monday, feel free to nudge us again on Monday -
Bonjour, bienvenue sur le forum ! Il n'est pas disponible actuellement sur le XR1000 mais il est prévu et devrait arriver dans la prochaine version du firmware.
-
It's best to do tests from a wired PC if possible. Yes the values will be set for each device but it doesn't mean the Xbox will use 30Mbps for gaming, gaming uses less than 1Mbps in most cases. If you're doing the test over WiFi then yes the values may be slightly off but generally it will give a picture of your whole connection.

Did you put cd in front of it like my screenshot? This is covered in the guide, step 2 "Extract the ZIP file to your desktop. The firmware file format is either .img or .chk" and step 5 "Type cd desktop and press Enter to change the Command Prompt directory to your desktop." if you follow the guide step by step exactly that will get you sorted.

Internet confuses the hell outaaa me

So I'm assuming you're using the XR700 beta is that correct? In that case we are still improving the results for Connection Benchmark so it won't always be super accurate. It also uses the Google servers to determine the results so depending on your connection to Google this could impact it. Also Ping Under Load/Bufferbloat will only occur with your connection saturated, if you're using QoS that will not happen and so you wouldn't see those kind of results. As well as this, a C grade is very much open to interpretation, can you provide a screenshot of the actual results graph? -
Nothing has changed as far as I am aware, the config files will be out of date and we'll need to update them, in the meantime you can get the config files from the providers and use the Advanced Setup instead to connect.

It has been on our list for awhile so it's possible it will be implemented in the future.

Share Excess just applies to Download/Upload so only option is to enable fully or disable fully. Congestion Control is network wide limitation, Bandwidth Allocation is allocating bandwidth to specific devices/applications. You can but giving gaming/a console more bandwidth won't make it use more bandwidth for gaming. Gaming uses very little bandwidth so if you gave it 2 Mbps or 1000 Mbps it would still only use the same amount.

DHCP option 60 & 61 feature?
Netduma Fraser replied to TheFuzzyOne87's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Vous pouvez le trouver au bas de la page de configuration Internet (la page lorsque vous êtes arrivé à Paramètres) -
Disable Auto Ping in the Geo-Filter menu then click on that server, what does the ping say it is? It will be lower than the in game reading, how much lower will determine if it's an issue on your side or whether the server is under load for example.

Destiny 2 cabbage error
Netduma Fraser replied to Nunzio's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
There isn't a beta for that currently but the firmware shouldn't be far off now -
What is the ping to that server? It may be mislocated on the map and actually gives you a low ping because it should be shown in London.

A few traffic prio questions
Netduma Fraser replied to CheckoutCoachCam's topic in Call of Duty Support
You don't need to do anything, we update it via the cloud and it will download automatically onto your R2. You can resync the cloud in Device Manager, Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap and that will check the cloud to see if there is a newer version and in the event that an update hasn't already been uploaded to you it will download that. -
Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page showing what you see when you're in a game? Have you put your V Hub in modem mode or put the R2 in the V Hub DMZ? Are ALL devices connected to the R2 or do you have some still connected to the V Hub? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?

Reoccurring Unknown Device
Netduma Fraser replied to Zaroo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Give it a good amount of time on the ISP router in that case, if you only notice it every other day then use it for 3 or 4 days, hopefully it will have logs and you can check that way but if not, use it enough where you would normally have noticed it connected to the XR. -

Great thanks! If it has logs that's great, if not no worries, just use it in its standard configuration, no need to change anything. Use it with all your normal devices in the same way you normally would and monitor your experience for the issues you've been seeing. -
Destiny 2 cabbage error
Netduma Fraser replied to Nunzio's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Could you first try with Strict Mode unticked/disabled and see if that resolves the issue for you? -
Have you changed the directory on command prompt to the same place you have the file, for example if you have the file on your desktop the directory on command prompt should say desktop, for example like this:
-
Nothing specifically you need to change, the only issues I could foresee maybe with the Geo-Filter, if you have them both enabled at the same time there is only the one radius you could use and so depending on the game it may make one work better than the other for example. However, the consoles are both in the same location and I assume you'd want to get the closest servers so it should be fine, just something to potentially keep an eye on.
-
You should see the map yes and there is a legend on the right of the screen that can be toggled on/off. Not all icons will appear at the same time, it depends what is happening. I would recommend keeping strict mode enabled.
-
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. You won't always see loads of blocked/allowed servers but you should at least see the allowed server within your radius that you're connected to.

Thanks for the logs, could you try using your ISP router for a day or two and see if you have the same experience? -
Réinitialisation d'usine, puis réessayez s'il vous plaît, je pense qu'il est entré dans un état bizarre
-
So it should Auto Ping the server and that will appear as a panel bottom right of the Geo-Filter (you may need to scroll down), then you should see information there, one of which will be the ID, if you just copy that and paste it here that would be great!
