  1. Without TP, UPnP wouldn't slow you down in any way
  2. I suspect the user is confused between UPnP and Traffic Prioritization and was referring to using Traffic Prioritization, give it a try without and let us know how you get on
  3. Disable QoS completely from the Congestion Control menu then do a speedtest, do you notice an increase in speeds then? Are you using Armor at all? The only thing that has changed is the position of the router? Is it using the same cables used previously?
  4. That is likely the issue, not all devices are connected to the router and can pull bandwidth away from the XR. If you connect them all to the XR with the XR in the DMZ of your linksys I suspect you'll see higher speeds
  5. Are you seeing slow speeds just when it comes to downloads on the console or do you see it when downloading on other devices or when doing a speedtest.net from a PC for example?
  6. You have Congestion Control disabled there, did you just disable Congestion Control or did you disable Network Priority or QoS entirely?
  7. Thank you very much for that, instead of adjusting using the panel on the right, if you just drag the percentage on the main 'flower' does that continue to work?
  8. There is no TFTP for the R2 unfortunately, I don't think there are JTAGS and you wouldn't be able to do anything in that regard. See if with it disconnected from the modem you can downgrade to .123 then upgrade to the latest official and see if that breaks the cycle.
  9. The XR1000 uses the Netgear settings and the R2 uses our own settings and as such it doesn't have as many settings to change, I think you may be the second person to ever ask for this.
  10. If you haven't removed the PPPoE details from the XR you'll need to do that, otherwise it won't get internet, then you can sort out the NAT. The DMZ section here will get you sorted for NAT: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000076587-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-open-nat
  11. When did the issue start exactly, after changing a setting, rebooting, updating etc? Are you on the Early Access firmware or the public release? Make sure your web browser isn't forcing HTTPS, clear your browser cache/cookies and then refresh the page.
  12. You can absolutely do that if you wish to but the more ports you open the more you're exposed and the more it poses a security risk, so I would recommend not doing that but you can make fewer rules by forwarding some ports in between two values, for example, Warzone 2 uses these ports (among others): 27014-27050 TCP 27000-27031, 27036 UDP So instead of making 3 separate rules you could just do one: 27014 - 27050 Also you don't need to port forward port 80/88/443 and I would advise not to.
  13. What firmware version are you on currently? Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.
  14. Okay that's fine, if you do speedtest.net what ping do you get there?
  15. Not necessarily but you'll see that under your picture where it says members will change and you'll see the new sub forum on the main page
  16. Does Warzone 2 work at all? If so they use the same servers so you can go off that, if not they won't have moved so you should receive the same general ping as you usually do and we'll update it on Monday
  17. Hey, welcome to the forum! I'll add you to the list.
  18. You should use the speeds you expect/receive doing a wired speedtest on speedtest.net, reason being Benchmark uses different servers and they don't always report closely to what you receive
  19. Yes they would, otherwise you can find it in the hub settings
  20. This will be better once we push a DPI update which we're working on now so keep as is for the moment
  21. You'll have to click WAN Setup then skip and enter the information you need in Settings
  22. I can't find much on that model, is it a pure modem i.e. it doesn't provide any WiFi? Do you know if you use PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers? The base ping pings the Google servers so depending on when the test is run and your routing to those servers it may change
  23. Keep us posted! There isn't a specific modem that needs to be used, a modem just passes the internet straight through to the device/router connected to it so it doesn't need to do anything special so any should work just fine.
  24. It indicates there was an unsuccessful internet connection attempt so you were disconnected and it failed to reconnect, it could just be the case that the modem needs a reboot if it hasn't had one in awhile. The attacks may not necessarily be attacks but rather the modem/ISP view misinterpret it as one which causes it to disconnect. The best thing is to check with the ISP - don't mention the router as it's irrelevant and they may blame that, you have the disconnects while connected to the modem so that's on them to figure out why really.
