You're missing the word put between the IP and firmware name
-
Thanks for trying, do the same but with the linux files this time please, I know that used to work

Hey, welcome to the forum! We first launched the R1 at the end of 2014, the hardware itself is older than that, so it's been over 8 years, plus the fact that it is second hand means it's not going to run as well as a newer R2 for example. This is a support forum so you will mostly only see people with issues posting here. As far as I am aware we're always going to have our own routers, it's great for developing our software and we also try to price them so that more people get to experience it. That being said, what firmware version are you on currently? We haven't had a firmware update for some time but depending on what you're on there may be a newer one for you.

Yes choose other routers and see if that works please
-
Looks like you're missing some information, which option are you choosing on this page? https://support.purevpn.com/openvpn-files Also are you adding your device on the right side of the VPN page once you've connected the VPN?

You're missing the put in the command between the IP and firmware name. Double check all the instructions and then try again.

xr1000 slow downloads and uploads speed
Netduma Fraser replied to patrick10's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You won't get the very max speed through a router (no matter the model) as it will be slightly reduced due to routing. What does Connection Benchmark show your upload as being when other sites show it slow or does it show the exact same speed? -
Provide a screenshot of your command prompt again please
-
Follow the instructions precisely, put the firmware file on your Desktop then do step 5 d and carry on from there

xr1000 slow downloads and uploads speed
Netduma Fraser replied to patrick10's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Just to clarify, when you're connected to the router, is it Connection Benchmark reporting low upload speeds or third party speed test sites as well? -
Did you change the directory on command prompt to be the same as where you downloaded the firmware file to?

xr1000 slow downloads and uploads speed
Netduma Fraser replied to patrick10's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You can't set above 1000Mbps for the speed as that is the max the ports support. Is it third party speedtests the upload is dropping on or just Connection Benchmark? -

Netduma Fraser replied to patrick10's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The best thing to do when this happens would be to take a look at the Network Monitor and see if there is a device using the majority of the upload, if there is then you can re-enable QoS and limit that device to a set upload value -
Sì, seleziona manuale e imposta Ping Assist su 0

I have to restart my router every few games

Could you resync Heatmap again please, we've just made a change, does it work now? -

Neither should be a problem so it's an odd issue to solve, are you using the beta firmware or public release? -

Do a factory reset from the interface and wait 2 minutes before accessing, that should resolve both issues -

It's not a full screenshot so I can't see if there is anything else that may be affecting it. If you resync the cloud heatmap should work now. -
Can you provide the OpenVPN config from Pure and a screenshot of your whole VPN page please?
-
Follow the above guide, it gives you step by step instructions on how to do it
-
It should be okay if you refresh the page but the error may still appear, if you click ok it should go away
-
The config files we have are outdated at the moment so you'll need to use the Advanced Setup to connect. Download the config files for the server you want to connect to from Pure then paste the contents into the Advanced Setup, enter your Pure user/pass and you should be able to connect.

If you want to force specific servers then you will need to set Ping Assist to 0 and then it will work, otherwise you always have the chance that you'll get a game not in your radius
