Try forcing the UK server and see if you get a better experience

Hey, welcome to the forum! You haven't added your device to the Geo-Filter that you want to filter on, that's why nothing is showing, I'd recommend having a look through our optimal settings guides to help you get setup: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646

Nothing yet I'm afraid, I'll get back to you tomorrow hopefully with some more news

Traffic Prioritization
Netduma Fraser replied to Muhammad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Well in theory it could prioritize them over your gaming yes, so I would suggest just leaving the PlayStation added and remove the rest -
Hey Kevin, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue, I see you've emailed us as well, unfortunately as above they have taken steps to eliminate Geo-Filtering. We do have a probable solution in the works but this may take quite some time. If you would like to get a refund please email us again and I'll get that sorted for you.

Traffic Prioritization
Netduma Fraser replied to Muhammad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Games Console prioritizes ports 1024-65535, normal traffic occurs on port 80/443 so that's probably why it isn't prioritizing. Is there a specific use case to prioritize these devices as it shouldn't be needed. -
Where is it you're located roughly?

The new DPI doesn't necessarily mean every game will be automatically recognized, we still have to train it, the game is on the list to go through it so you don't need to do anything on that front. Just continue what you have been doing for the moment and we'll get it done.

Ah you said previously your laptop wasn't able to connect via ethernet. You should input the highest speeds you're seeing as that is actually what the router is getting. Did you try the previous link for increasing speeds?

some problems XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to Wantox81's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@Wantox81I've added you to the beta if you would like to try it and see if it helps. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/145-nighthawk-pro-gaming-beta/ -
Have a look at this guide for speeds: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000076586-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-maximum-bandwidth-speeds Also try these suggestions for WiFi: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ If you could provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page we can have a look at why you may be getting errors.

Are you actually getting games within that polygon?
-
Hey there, did you try my suggestion from your previous topic on this issue to see if it is just the Geo-Filter? Demonware facilitates the online play - the authentication servers that are required to allow you to play, they've done so for years and are now a subsidiary of Acti/Blizz, the anti-cheat is Ricochet.

It sounds like you already know how to force servers correctly so I don't think this is anything on your end but just to double check are you waiting at least 2 minutes after changing the location/closing the game completely before you search again?

Traffic Prioritization
Netduma Fraser replied to Muhammad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's very hard to see, what services did you add them with? -
Ah for consoles it's just the one way to filter, you don't need to choose games specifically, glad to hear it's working, any servers required to be allowed should be already but if not provide us with the ID and we can get that added.
-
This usually happens if you have a device added to Traffic Prioritization and then delete it from the Device Manager, does that sound like what may have happened? There are only two solutions to this issue: Reconnect the device to the router via the same method it was previously connected (2.4GHz, 5GHz or ethernet) and give it the same device name it had previously with the same device type Factory Reset

No beta closed or otherwise currently for the 700 but should that happen we'll keep you in mind, thanks for the kind words!
-
That's a good idea but would add a lot of manual work confirming that, no easy way to do it through the forum software
-
Peculiar, could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?

¡Hola bienvenido al foro! El firmware más reciente para el R1 se encuentra en ese enlace de arriba y, lamentablemente, no ha cambiado.

XR1000V2 QUESTIONS?
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
There is only a difference in the CPU but they are the same spec. Two different versions yes - it did cause a delay but that shouldn't continue anymore now. -
It might be a bad night for the game, is the in game ping a lot higher than the Geo ping?
