  1. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN Settings page, then access the ISP modem/router interface, find the DMZ option and paste in the IP.
  2. If your bandwidth speeds fluctuate a lot best to set them as the average of what you achieve. Then you can experiment with the Congestion Control settings to fine tune. Glad to hear it, once the team are back updates should start coming out much faster.
  3. I've sent you a firmware via Private Message. Where are you testing the speeds? The ping increase is likely due to Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter this is done on purpose to provide a smoother game but you can disable it by clicking it at the top of the map.
  4. Let us know, we have also had a report disabling IPv6 in WAN/LAN fixes it but please try SmartBOOST first and only if that doesn't work try IPv6. Uninstall the app, re-install it and it should work then - also make sure you're connected to the R3 WiFi.
  5. Sent to everyone, also best to get the firmware from official methods generally!
  6. As in with ports? It has been requested so is on the list but you can prioritize the device instead of the applications if you feel that works better for you. SmartBOOST is more automatic, it allocates bandwidth/prioritizes based on the devices and applications being used. Also good advice above.
  7. Are you using 3 different routers in sequence as that certainly won't be helping, especially if you haven't set the DMZ. How have you setup Congestion Control? As that would help in this situation. Could you expand on what you mean by the features not working exactly? We're aware Ping Optimizer/Speed test isn't 100% reliable at the moment, the team will be looking at that when they're back but it will still work at times. Does sound like Steady Ping raising the ping which is normal but you can disable it if you wish. I've sent you the .23 version that has some Geo-Filter improvements, I'd recommend factory resetting once it is complete.
  8. Apologies for the delayed response, I did keep chasing but they were unable to do anything before the holidays. I'm sure after the new year now the R3 launch is out of the way they'll have more time to be able to connect. When did you purchase the router? Given the date of the post you wouldn't be eligible for a refund but we may be able to do a replacement and ship it with the latest version on. When did you purchase/what is your order number?
  9. Thanks everyone for helping the OP resolve their issue!
  10. Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter showing what you see when this happens please?
  11. Sent Steady Ping won't be possible for every game but we'll be working to make it as expansive as possible.
  12. Okay thank you, I will pass that onto the team to look into as soon as they're back. If you disable SmartBOOST fully like the above does that prevent it happening?
  13. Hello, welcome to the forum! I'm not sure if it's worth making a comparison here, that router is double the price of the R3 and as such has hardware specs that match the price. We offer the best hardware we were able to do at the price point we chose but with the best software so it really depends which you value most. Well it's made for gamers by gamers so it does have features that are all focused on getting the best connection possible, like the Geo-Filter, allowing you to force specific servers, no other router has that. Yes I would say you're better off with the R3 as the XR series won't get DumaOS 4. I'd recommend having a look at the website as well as the YouTube playlist to get some more information. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCU0-ELvZkOqiQFGXII95B7063uASKQlO&si=3EmZ_ZX-Zl-4G9zQ
  14. Is the R3 in the ISP modem DMZ or is it setup in modem/router mode? That's likely the cause of the moderate NAT if that hasn't been done
  15. It should work fine, I think it's more likely as to when the Geo-Filter settings are applied in relation to when you boot up the game but do let us know what you think it could be
  16. Sent More likely the team would reproduce the issue and make a firmware update to fix it. Does the R3 get a WAN IPv6 address? Glad to hear the app worked!
  17. Sent What Congestion Control settings are being used? Do you notice any improvements adjusting it?
  19. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.
  20. I think it's probably related to some other issues so I'm not sure, Fuzy might have better advice on this than me!
  21. Looks okay but you can reset Bandwidth Allocation, gaming barely uses any bandwidth. You're also not prioritizing the game at all, enable DumaOS Classified Games or add the the PC with the Games Console service. Is this all the devices in your home connected?
  22. Best thing to do would be to consult the manual for that device to see about the different connection methods that can be used to connect to a router
  23. Êtes-vous sur la dernière version de l'application ? Nous avons publié une mise à jour avant les vacances.
  24. I have sent you the firmware in a PM
  25. The in game ping being higher is normal, this is due to processing delay - all games have it but not all choose to include it in the ping calculation. There is no way around it and it isn't possible for us to calculate it. Up to 30ms additional ping in game is okay, anything higher than that and I would suggest you try getting another server as the server is under load. In the example you gave that server is under load and you should try another. Ping Assist got you a 30ms game so is working correctly there. Please try the above, disabling those options essentially makes it exactly like the R2 Geo-Filter
