Did you factory reset after the upgrade? If not please do as there has been several versions so would be good to rule out any remnants from the previous versions causing issues.
-
When it says Couldn't Ping Server that's usually correct, but it shouldn't happen every time. What firmware version are you on? What is your exact physical setup?

A London COD server bypasses GeoFilter

The auth server in most cases stays in the exact same position so may be outside your Geo-Filter but does not impact your ping. You should see a server within your radius -
¿Como en el R2 en el módem ISP DMZ o PS5 en R2 DMZ o ambos?
-
Do not put your PC in the DMZ this is a big security risk. It's more likely a case you haven't found the right settings for you yet. Steady Ping won't necessarily work with all games but if we can improve this we will. You can leave your PC as a PC, it should work just as well. If 2042 detected on SmartBOOST? If you haven't done a factory reset yet I would suggest doing so given the amount of updates, would be a good idea to ensure no remnants from previous versions cause problems. I've responded to your topic

Netduma R3 Problems from the get go
Netduma Fraser replied to sturrock's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You need to setup the ISP modem in modem/bridge mode or put the R3 in its DMZ to ensure traffic is passed directly to the R3 unimpeded. What speeds do you get on a wired PC to speedtest.net? You'll need to adjust Congestion Control if you want a better result on the bufferbloat test, you can do this in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. It's very likely Steady Ping causing the increase, it does this by design, you can see why on the video on our YT channel. You can disable it by clicking Steady Ping at the top of the map. Once you do the first step IPv6 should work. You can email [email protected] if you would like to pursue a refund. -
Sent You're welcome, Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It's not really a malfunction as that is an unintended benefit but probably settings/setup based Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.

Netduma R3 Problems from the get go
Netduma Fraser replied to sturrock's topic in Netduma R3 Support
How have you setup the ISP router exactly? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Where are you testing speeds? Where are you testing the ping? The game is slower in what way? -
Which firmware are you on currently?

5 second ‘disconnect’ after 10pm?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Likely to come this month I would think -
Sent you you both. .21 fixes VLAN, .23 includes all previous firmware version changes and has some Geo-Filter improvements

5 second ‘disconnect’ after 10pm?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Bizarre, the only thing I can see which is strange is one device being assigned the same IP over and over again prior to the disconnect. .54 which device is using that IP? -
Geofiltering Not Working & No Tick Rate Stats (MW3)
Netduma Fraser replied to TheT's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You won't always be able to ping a server so when you see that specifically it is likely for good reason. What firmware version are you on? -
Not all updates will have been pushed to everyone at this stage, I can send the latest which is .23 if you would like?
-
We were under the impression WPS was entirely not working, so just to clarify you were actually able to connect the extender to the R3 using the WPS button on the R3? If you connect using another method, without WPS does it work better then? You may need to split the bands as well on the R3

Split the band, connect one device to 2.4 one to 5GHz, does it work then?

This sentence "It doesn't even work for the game's listed under the same area of the Geo Filter for when adding devices." didn't make much sense to me, if I understood what you were trying to say I wouldn't have asked for clarification. Steady Ping will not always be able to stabilize a server, nor will it necessarily be able to stabilize every single game, if it's possible we'll expand it. I believe it's something to do with how often you ping their server, each game has limits. You don't have to do that and that is the same process for the R2 for example. Sent you all a PM with the firmware How are you determining that it needs to be disabled for it to disable Steady Ping exactly?

I'll get the team to see if they can reproduce the issue

New pinned Post to update known bugs for everyone?
Netduma Fraser replied to l2eactionz's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I get where you're coming from and I think it would help, not my decision though and not sure whether the team would be keen on doing that. It also creates a lot of extra working managing two bug lists and also not everyone is on the same firmware so wouldn't apply to everyone etc -
Geo Filter Not Showing Any Servers
Netduma Fraser replied to Jumppy_15's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Are you seeing those ping spikes on the Geo-Filter ping, in game or both? One or the other method of prioritizing will be fine, you don't need both -
A London COD server bypasses GeoFilter
Netduma Fraser replied to cedric108's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As above, it's for authentication and required for online play. It should not affect your ability to filter at all. What firmware version are you on currently?
