XR500 Optimal QoS For Valorant
Netduma Fraser replied to jax's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
How have you added the ports for the game exactly? It should definitely be working that way. You could also add the PC with the Games Console service which would be easier and will definitely prioritize -
5 second ‘disconnect’ after 10pm?

Yes it is almost certainly the issue I mentioned, did you reserve IPs for all your devices connected -
We'll be bringing out more improvements so that should help with what you're experiencing

In private matches your opponents are pre-determined so you cannot use the Geo-Filter at all. You could try throttling Congestion Control severely -
Duma OS wouldn't open, reboot R3 to fix problems.

Great to hear that, yes lots of fixes will be coming -
Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3

Click advanced WAN Settings and then skip, that will allow you to complete the wizard and get to the interface. Do you know if you require PPPoE/VLAN, anything like that for a connection? If you're not sure check the settings on the old router. -
Yes but do the ISP require their router to be used? If you connect that router to the ONT, connect the R2 to the other router and switch to DHCP do you get a connection?
-
You can't go below 50% for Congestion Control, it's also a very low percentage, shouldn't need to be that low. What happens when you try to change it from 100%?
-
So you've tried, 95, 85, 75, 65, 55 and combinations in between?

Smartboost failing to recognize gaming priority

Almost certain it will work if you do the above but fair enough! -
Now you've set it there, if you reboot from the interface does it work? Do you require a custom MTU to be set? Do you know whether your ISP requires you to use their modem/router?

What do you want supported in DumaOS?
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Liam's topic in Community Discussion

Ignore Ping Optimizer, just have it set to 70%. See if you have a better experience now -
As I mentioned before by trying a percentage, looking at the test, trying, testing etc. PingPlotter themselves say it's not a cause for concern https://www.pingman.com/kb/article/initial-hops-100-packet-loss-6.html

While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.

Exactly the same

https://forum.netduma.com/forum/106-latest-firmwares/ We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced.

You're likely putting the incorrect IP in as it will definitely take it - it's not the 192.168.77.1 address, it's the one listed on the WAN Settings page. Congestion Control isn't doing anything as its set to 100, try 70% for download/upload.
