It would be better to actually check websites that you normally get ads on served by these URLs to see if they're blocked as that is what it is designed to do, rather than checking Adblock tests

Not able to connect to bridge mode
Netduma Fraser replied to Mostafa Gad's topic in Netduma R1 Support
Is the TP-Link definitely not handling PPPoE anymore? If you switch the R1 to DHCP for example does it then work? -
Could you provide the log from when that happens please?
-
Did you do the port forwarding rule I mentioned above?
-
As above and if you still get the same issue what is the message you see on the app?
-
Exactly as above!
-
It's never mandatory, whatever works best for you!

We mentioned in the new topic that you'd see the update on the router over the next few days but you can install it manually before then: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/ We won't necessarily put every single firmware version on the router itself for you to upgrade to - if there is a major issue it could wipe out the entire customer base so we'll post it here sometimes so we can control it and get direct feedback. The one I've linked to there is the very latest.

Could you clarify what you mean exactly and what you've tried to do to resolve it?

Hybrid VPN on The Netduma R3 - Current Status
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Fraser's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If you're looking for information on it just ask, we posted this in the new update topic: "Hybrid VPN development is complete for the R3 and is now in testing. We've redesigned the frontend for Hybrid-VPN to make it easier and clearer compared to DumaOS 3. We're excited for you to try it out! In the next few days, we'll be moving it to closed beta testing, and if all goes well, we should have it with you very soon along with fixes to make Ping Optimiser run more reliably and improved IPv6 support." If you want to send it back please make sure you have a look at netduma.com/terms and then email [email protected] -
If you try to login using the app when that happens does it work at all? We will definitely look into it. Thanks for the report, I will definitely get the team to take a look at it.
-
I don't recall if they are included in the list, if you add them manually do they block or is that what you did?

I've not seen that error on the R3 at all so far. What is the URL for when you get that error? Yes it does need that permission to work, if you enable that in settings it should then work.
-
Well there are still bugs/improvements that we're working on if that's what you're asking, no software is 100% bug free so there is always work to be done. You can always upgrade then downgrade if you feel you had a better experience.

Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to canuckftc12W's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing when it's showing that it's stabilizing but you're seeing this inconsistency? -
Fixed CPU usage spike issue coming next week.
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Cameron's topic in News & Announcements
When that happens if you could get the log from the interface that would really help to identify the cause -

Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to canuckftc12W's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It doesn't prevent jitter, it raises the ping to absorb it so that you have a consistent ping throughout the match, do you see that? -
Fixed CPU usage spike issue coming next week.
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Cameron's topic in News & Announcements
It will fluctuate based on usage, it won't prevent it ever going to 100% if that's what the router needs but if you use the mobile app to view the interface it's been reported that keeps the CPU down more -
I'm not sure what firmware version your XR500 is on but if you're not on it then I'd suggest trying the beta we've posted on the forum. Otherwise it may be a good idea to try to re-upgrade using TFTP which bypasses the boot process and any issues there. If you're wanting DumaOS still then we have recently launched our R3 router which the software and hardware is entirely done by us.
-
The router comes with it pre-installed, you access it by going to http://192.168.77.1 or http://dumaos in your web browser or by downloading the DumaOS app on your phone app store. All instructions are on/in the box that you need to get started
-
Try setting the console to a PC in Device Manager then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and see if it is more consistent then please.
-
You didn't activate it or didn't disable it? Can you connect to 2.4 or 5GHz manually or is it just the one WiFi name you connect to? The Geo-Filter allows you to force close servers, your connection type doesn't determine what servers you connect to. That's the ping you have when you see that issue specifically?
