If you disable SmartBOOST fully on the page by clicking the icon what do you get then?

It won't always stabilize that is normal, just the nature of the beast that it won't be able to do it 100% of the time

We're aware that aspect isn't working 100% reliably, should be better in the next one

I can't see it now so should be disabled, any higher speeds?

What game are you playing and on what platform? When you notice it have a look at what is being blocked, then you can add it to the whitelist. DumaOS 4 is much easier to develop on and is much more interconnected as well which is something DumaOS 3 can't do. We're not struggling, we're a software company so open sourcing the software that makes us money wouldn't help us in any way. Updates have never been on a schedule, we'll release them when we can/when they're ready.

Uninstall it then reinstall it and see if that works please

You don't have to bypass the ONT/modem, this is the normal setup for most people

Nothing to do with Congestion Control. If you were using PPPoE you'd have put credentials in to get a connection. Have you definitely disabled IPv6 in LAN & WAN as I can see you're still getting an IPv6 address

Using a router the speeds will always be a little slower and ping slightly higher than if you have 1 device connected to a modem. To eliminate bufferbloat Congestion Control should be used which will lower your speeds a little, this is normal - Bufferbloat/lag occurs when your network is saturated i.e. all your bandwidth is being used, by lowering Congestion Control you ensure that not all your speed can be used and therefore bufferbloat/lag does not occur.

What is the upload you pay for? Are you using PPPoE?

No SteadyPing is only on DumaOS 4 which won't be coming to the XR series. Yes the app should now work for you, make sure it's on the latest from your app store

Having a look online I found this: "The credentials for the UK for DHCP Option 61 is 'anything@skydsl|anything' with obtaining an IP automatically from the WAN port of the commercial router you are using? Once you have set the credentials then the ONT and router should be disconnected for about half an hour before reconnecting and authenticating as this ensures Sky's backend servers don't get confused and work correctly." So try that and see if that helps

Ah so it looks like you need PPPoE/that's where you need to enter the details, try that and see if it works please

Good news is I believe we have managed to fix this and it'll be in the next update

Also, by connecting direct to a modem/router in bridge mode it's not doing any routing whatsoever so can achieve a lower ping/higher speed, when you then introduce a router doing routing that speed will decrease.

In Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced disable the protection options and check again please

It does have a dark mode, I've been using it for years! Scroll down to the bottom of any page, click theme and select Netduma Dark

Do you still have access to the interface when it happens? If so can you get the logs from the System Information please when it occurs again please? Do you notice any pattern with it happening other than length of time?

Pretty much the above! I suspect if you increase the lease time or use some static IPs you will see this a lot less

Can you provide the ID for the server please and I can take a look. Does it play more like 50ms or 150ms?

Take the R3 out of the DMZ on the hub, then give the R3 a static IP (not route) so that the IP for the R3 is always the same, then put it in the DMZ. Reboot the hub, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 2 minutes then check if that works please

What firmware version are you on currently? You might need to upgrade to https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/ in order to save the credentials
