Xr1000 drops Wan every few minutes
Netduma Fraser replied to tylerscott902's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What are you doing a static route for specifically? As it's not the same as reserving an IP for a device -
I can get the team to add that, not a problem, I'll pass it on, thanks
-
Disconnect the router from the modem, then go through again and just wait to see if the browser auto refreshes, don't open another tab or ipconfig, it could take up to 4 minutes

In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. -
Disable Adblocker, if that doesn't help disable SmartBOOST and see if it works then please
-
We definitely won't have tested it then and I don't know how their matchmaking system works so I couldn't say whether it would work with the Geo-Filter. QoS would work for it though and you can prioritize your phone.

Ah okay, it may be related to a bug we found, this'll should then be fixed in the next version. Yes that's correct
-
Sorry to hear that but totally understand your frustration, you could try unplugging the router from power for 24 hours, plug in, then wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works. It may seem excessive but we have seen routers come back to life doing this.

Cannot delete reserved IPs from DHCP
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That is very likely a bug, good catch, I will pass that onto the team. In the meantime change the LAN IP back and delete the rules, then change and add. I would have thought they'd auto update to be honest, in fact reboot the router first and see if that does happen please. -
XR1000 firware and duma os 3.3
Netduma Fraser replied to AnarchyAli's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
They don't give any ETAs so I'm doing my best to give people an indication based on what I know at the time -
We haven't specifically tested the game so I couldn't say for certain whether it would work with the Geo-Filter. Is it a mobile game?
-
That's expected, SmartBOOST needs to be enabled for those functions to work
-
We've removed it for the moment while we fix some of the issues and release a new update when ready.
-
I'd suggest doing the following: Download the .280 update to the PC Disable IPv6 for your PC ethernet adapter Get through the wizard and upgrade immediately See if it's more stable after that

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!

That does sound like it's wrong then! Thanks, I'll pass it on to check. -
Geo Filter not working/glitching causing high latency

That'll be SteadyPing, disable that, is it better then? -
Try and rename them really quick, I think there is an issue if you take too long to name something it reverts, then see if it saves better

I feel like i'm 1s behind everybody
Netduma Fraser replied to Ganerineur's topic in Call of Duty Support
That would be a game mechanic so not something we can affect directly. Some people find throttling heavily or forcing servers far away can help with it. -
Bufferbloat and in game stutter with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Aylinka's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay thanks, I'll pass it onto the team to have a look at. Ping Assist is a filtering method, nothing to do with the ping showing but try the above and see if that works please -
It's not referring to overwatch the game, it's to do with a background process, perfectly normal. When you change those settings, wait 30 seconds before going off it, then go back, have they saved? Thanks for the log, I'll pass it onto the team.

Could you clarify what you did with the range exactly? What happens when you try to edit/remove? -
XR1000 Login Page issues
Netduma Fraser replied to Zordrak's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's very strange, definitely something PC specific causing it then by the sounds of it.
