Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Where are you located in relation to the server that makes you think it may be incorrectly located? -
Was anything else happening on the router/network at the time when this happens? That's most likely the Adblocker causing it, if you disable it does it work then? Makes sense, we'll be working to boost the speeds with PPPoE where possible.

For consoles you just add it with the Games Console service to both Geo-Filter and Traffic Prioritization, there is no need to specify a game and we know most players for efootball are on a console. Ping Heatmap it looks like it's pinging all servers apart from 2, what about it isn't updated, is it missing servers?
-
That's great to hear, thanks for the update!
-
That's brilliant to hear, I will let the team know about that
-
That makes sense for Steady Ping at least, make your changes, reboot from the interface, this will act as a hard save. Then if you unplug again CC should retain the settings. It's working better I'd say generally but depending on usage/time of day it may not need to throttle you. You're very welcome, are you using PPPoE?

You'll need to re-connect the device back to the router via the same method i.e. ethernet, 2.4/5GHz and give it the same name/device type and the error will go or factory reset unfortunately. The LAN settings were made by Netgear and they don't reflect the changes made on the main Device Manager for some reason

Xbox - Alternative port switches on its own
Netduma Fraser replied to Deasha's topic in Community Discussion
Take the device out of the DMZ and just apply the 3074 port forwarding rule and see if that helps -
A number going back to the default? How were you restarting the router exactly?
-
So just for some clarity: Device added, no services added + Do NOT VPN these services = VPN applied to entire device Device added, services added + Do NOT VPN these services = VPN applied to entire device except the services added Device added, no services added + Only VPN these services = VPN not applied at all Device added, services added + Only VPN these services = VPN applied to only the services added For a console, it should be greyed out and Do NOT VPN these services automatically added when you add that device. This is expected behavior because it's not always possible to specify services on a console. Also, when you're gaming on the console you're not doing anything else. When adding ports it's a misconception that the source ports will always be the same as the destination ports - they won't so if you don't have them added exactly right they will not work as expected.

The platform would be your router, the R1, as it's an old version it's likely not compatible with the newest version of the app. I'll pass it onto the team to have a look at.

Is it Settings > Administration > Backup Settings > Erase that you're using? -
Xbox - Alternative port switches on its own
Netduma Fraser replied to Deasha's topic in Community Discussion
Do you have another console/device you play games on? If so, does this happen when you turn on that device first? -
Give the 5G router a reboot, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes, do you get internet then?
-
Once downloaded, go to the router interface Settings > Troubleshooting > Upload firmware, I included those instructions on the post

PROBLEMAS DE RESETEO ROUTER XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to SuperFlyCedrick's topic in NETDUMA Español
How have you done the factory reset exactly? Via the interface or holding the small button with a thin object in the back of the router for 30 seconds? -
Could you try the suggestion above and see if that changes? What settings are you making exactly and how, what device/web browser/app etc
-
No I doubt that'd work, you'd have a ridiculously high ping, I assume you want to get around SBMM which isn't something we can assist you with. The speed when using the VPN on the router is limited, so apply it to specific ports/services so the VPN still applies to the device and for things like YouTube it can get full speed using your normal connection.

I believe it's to do with SmartBOOST and or IPv6 being enabled, disabling these seems to help it not happen as much, it's something we're looking into. Another user commented about the app that in Settings on your phone for the apps you need to give it local network privilege, does that work?

Netduma R3 YouTube slows and NAT Moderate on MW3
Netduma Fraser replied to Podawski's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You'll need to use port forwarding on the R3 then for your PC and you should then be able to get an Open NAT -
There is nothing really game specific you need to do, just ensure you've got Congestion Control set, SmartBOOST set to boost your game and use the Geo-Filter to force the closest servers to you
-
As above so no it wouldn't. Gaming barely uses any bandwidth, just because you assign it more won't make the game use it because bandwidth speed isn't required for gaming, it's about the latency

It has been suggested so its on the list for potential future inclusion
