  1. It's IP/MAC address may have changed potentially, it won't cause you any issues, it's purely aesthetic The same issue you were having before yes? We'll look into it. Interesting, how do you have Congestion Control set exactly? Keep us posted! The firmware wasn't made to affect gameplay specifically but to fix the bugs like you mentioned. If the previous version works best for you that's great. More firmware will be coming.
  2. If you copy and pasted the list you would have tried to do a rule for 3074 for each device? Different platforms will handle friends differently, PC you may connect through a server for example
  3. If your ping is good it may be quite hard to determine the cause, could just be the game. Do you notice a difference depending on the time of day that you play?
  4. You can't filter the game so would suggest removing it from the Geo-Filter. The offline part is fine if when playing you see it being prioritized in the middle of the page in the big pie chart, do you see that?
  5. What's the ping shown on the Geo-Filter and in game?
  6. You've changed the max speed available for the entire network so yes it has slowed them down but the results do indicate that whatever throttling you were doing previously, it needs to be a bit more. Alternatively do the PingPlotter method to discover the best results for you.
  7. Try disabling IPv6 for just LAN, then reboot the router and see if it works then please
  8. Okay thank you, I'll get Alex to sort it
  9. Just to double check, have you ever had an Open NAT? If you connect directly to the modem do you get an Open NAT?
  10. Have you disabled SmartBOOST at all?
  11. Okay well part of the problem is you can't port forward the same ports to two separate devices. Just do 3074 for the PC and 3075 for the console and see if that works. For parties you'll need to add people to your allow list on the Geo-Filter- we don't know who your friends are and the same for private matches or disable the Geo-Filter as you can't use it anyway in that scenario.
  12. Thank you, I presume this is on the new .40 firmware?
  13. Without the device being connected to the router you wouldn't be able to set port forwards for it so that won't be it. Make a guest WiFi network on the R3 and see if it can connect to that instead.
  14. You may need to re-adjust your Congestion Control/SmartBOOST settings on this version, people were finding they had to throttle more severely on previous versions for example
  15. Here is an article from the creators of PingPlotter regarding what I mentioned: https://www.pingman.com/kb/article/initial-hops-100-packet-loss-6.html If you ping google in command prompt does it appear stable?
  16. It will save some settings yes but I don't think it will restore everything. You can upgrade the firmware and settings will not reset, they'll only reset if you do a factory reset.
  17. No need to make multiple posts/emails, I have just responded to your emails but once it ships on Monday you will receive a tracking email.
  18. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Is it CoD you're playing? What port forwarding rules have you done specifically?
  19. Any luck with changing the widths/channels?
  20. We haven't specifically fixed that but would suggest factory resetting as it should work better overall after that. If it's greyed out then indicates SmartBOOST has been disabled. Are the devices connected directly to the router or are they using an AP, extender etc?
  21. The bottom graph is the most important one which is showing great stability and no packet loss. The creators of PingPlotter say themselves the first few hops can read correctly. Verify it by pinging google in command prompt for example and it should be stable.
  22. Yeah it's not been fixed in that one, will come in one of the next ones
  23. Fair enough, you'll need to email [email protected] to pursue that
  24. Have you upgraded to the firmware posted yesterday to see if that helps at all?
  25. It is the regression so I'll get the team to fix it
