  1. Okay thank you, I'll pass it onto the team to have a look at what is happening
  2. On that mobile interface if you go to Network Activity and the settings there you should be able to show router traffic, if you have that does it then show the usage you're missing?
  3. Could you copy/paste the ID of the 119ms server here please? Hard to make out fully in the photo. Also resync the Geo-Filter cloud just in case we have already removed it.
  4. No worries, you're very welcome!
  5. We're not giving out any ETAs but we're working on it, we're not going to rush anything out if it's not ready
  6. Are you seeing the same 119 ping in game when this server appears or is it the ping of the server within your radius?
  7. Did you enter your expected speeds in bandwidth settings? Are ALL devices connected to the XR or are some connected to your ISP modem/router?
  8. That all looks fine, when it happens could you get the log please?
  9. What weren't you able to complete from the steps? Glad it's working now
  10. Set a static IP on the PC with the following details IP address: 192.168.77.100 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.77.1 DNS: 192.168.77.1 If you're not sure how to do this, you can check this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows then try accessing 192.168.77.1 please and see if it works.Set a static IP on the PC with the following details
  11. Okay specific times to help me narrow it down in the log?
  12. It's not available for the R2 yet, when it is available we'll let people know
  13. It sounds most likely to be the ethernet cable connecting the router to your modem, if you swap it out for a new cable do you see the same behavior?
  14. It says ping method traced rather than direct so it's likely what I mentioned. If you do tracert 206.217.203.170 in command prompt, do you get similar results?
  15. I should still be on then yes
  16. If it's working as a switch then it's still not working at all. Right-click on the Network/WiFi Windows Network Icon on the PC on the bottom-right hand side of your screen Open Network and Sharing Center. Click Change Adapter Settings. Right-click your connection and go to Properties. Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable it. Then try accessing the interface and see if it works please. If not please do an ipconfig
  17. When this happens, if you have a look at the CPU/memory do you notice it being used a lot? Does SmartBOOST show the same amount of traffic being used or is it using up everything? How do you have Congestion Control set?
  18. You can disable it in WiFi Settings. The way Smart Connect works is it automatically switches between the bands based on needs, it's this automatic switching/having one SSID for both bands that many smart devices don't like so if that is the cause - even if it's not switching to 5GHz then disabling and connecting manually to 2.4GHz should resolve it.
  19. If you have a look at the network usage when this happens do you see anything taking up that much bandwidth?
  20. To Geo-Filter the game you have to use Geo-Latency which can on occasion mean you get games outside your radius, to reduce this happening the best thing would be to include a few more servers within your radius so the game has more to choose from
  21. Based on the ID it does look to be a Texas server definitely. Most CoD servers don't respond to traditional pings so we try to be clever, the ping reading here may be because some hops along the way have timed out, pushing up the average, I'll double check with the team though.
  22. Okay interesting, so if you re fine tune Congestion Control again can you find the sweet spot again?
  23. Could've been to do with the Congestion Control percentages/settings you were using potentially!
  24. Okay so they said nothing specific in the .41 version but that the packet re-ordering fix that was included may fix it but do try it and let us know
  25. Thanks for the kind words! Yes it is the design of Steady Ping, that is exactly what it does, I think people are not aware of how the feature works exactly and so we'll be looking into better ways to educate. Glad to hear it's working well for you
