  1. Split the bands, that will then give you two WiFi networks to choose from on devices, one 2.4, the other 5GHz. Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Any extender should work just fine
  2. Interesting, tough to figure out what might be happening here, I suspect the ping on the Geo is high due to the timeouts, the server itself just may be a bad one, add it to your denied list and any further that crop up
  3. Set Congestion Control to Always and make the download/upload percentages at 70%. Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter page please?
  4. It's blocking the server in the UK as expected, when you're in a game do you then see an icon within your radius?
  5. All devices should be connected to the R3 via WiFi or ethernet so it can effectively control the network, otherwise devices connected to your ISP router could cause you to lag. The NAT type has nothing to do with the IP, NAT Type 2 is open, it just means you're behind a router, it's only possible to get NAT Type 1 behind a modem but functionally there is no difference, you have done what is needed for an Open NAT. You can find Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. You don't need to open ports. Let us know how you get on.
  6. Give them static/reserved IPs in LAN Settings and see if they stay online more consistently then please
  7. Could you email us [email protected] with a link to this topic please and we can help you further there
  8. Reset your Bandwidth Allocation and then try again please, also do you have anything set for Traffic Prioritization?
  9. Check the Asus internet settings and try to mirror those on the R3 to see if you can get a connection that way.
  10. As above, it's usually always pinned to the top of the R3 Support forum
  11. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How are you checking NAT, on the console network settings or in game? How do you have Congestion Control set? Disable Steady Ping, that is the likely cause of the higher ping (it does do this by design), is it lower then?
  12. It would be better in some instances but isn't required for proper functionality
  13. Thanks for that, it's a tricky one, the in game ping seems to be showing the last ping response you got from the trace, they match up pretty well. However, you said the gameplay was terrible, was it laggy, did it feel more like 170ms?
  14. You said you have 4 but only 3 are experiencing the issue, is there anything in common that the 3 share or anything different about the 1 that works?
  15. Use the simple mode instead of polygon, does that work better then?
  16. It's not something you could try as would require specific credentials/values, if you don't know then it's likely you don't need it. Are you able to reboot the box on the wall? If so reboot it, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet through it
  17. Don't use the built in speed test, use speedtest.net, do you see the same reduced speeds?
  18. Could you connect the Asus to your modem then connect the R3 to the Asus, do you get the same problem then?
  19. Are you testing on the router speed test or speedtest.net? Is speed test bypass enabled? What kind of network traffic is there over those days? The more information the better as we can more closely try to reproduce it then.
  20. We're looking into all issues and working to get them resolved as quickly as possible but we're not going to rush out firmware that could potentially bring more issues
  21. Thank you, I'll pass it on to be removed
  22. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely including from the System Tray Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) - change the icon Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.
  23. Do you know if your require PPPoE/VLAN in order to get a connection?
  24. Are you saying if you manually resync the cloud that you can reproduce this issue? That's likely to be something else, are you using PPPoE?
