  1. The Geo-Filter shows any active connections so if it isn't available at that time for whatever reason you won't see it. It could be a server used when others are under heavy load for example, try at different times of the day and see if you can get it
  2. That looks all fine there. Try this, disable SmartBOOST fully from the menu, reboot, wait 2 minutes, re-enable, reboot, wait 2 minutes then see if it calculates properly please
  3. At least 3000 of those posts are just mine I believe. It is a new product and also new software, there are bound to be a lot of topics and posts. Even with the R2 launch there were a lot as well. Don't forget you're looking at a support forum, you will only see people posting issues here, it is a small percentage of the people that have an R3. We've never denied there are issues with any product we've worked on, that's why we gather feedback and logs etc so we can work on them. I understand you're frustrated but the team develop all day every day, it's not possible to go faster. If we rush out firmware then more issues could arise, better to take our time to ensure quality.
  4. Does changing the width for 2.4GHz not help with the speed at all? If you could provide the IDs of the servers we can get them moved. Are you waiting a few minutes after blocking for the connection to be severed before searching? If not the connection won't be severed and will persist. That ping is normal, in game includes processing delay, anywhere from 10-30ms in addition is fine, anything above would indicate heavy load.

  6. It's not something we can help with, this isn't the purpose of the Geo-Filter so it is not guaranteed to work, also if the game you're playing is server based it's unlikely to work as well.
  7. It's purpose isn't to beat SBMM but to give you a better gaming experience so if that is your goal then there is no guarantee that would work. For Xbox parties you'd just need to add friends on the Geo-Filter allow list.
  8. Could you check troubleshooting > advanced, how much memory do you have free? Is CPU usage really high?
  9. The test doesn't saturate your connection so it can't truly reflect what it'll be like, it's an estimate/simulation of what your ping would be like if you were to experience bufferbloat. For a more accurate test I'd suggest using https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping while saturating your connection with downloads. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control (on Always), say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. As long as the CPU isn't hitting 100% consistently it shouldn't be causing issues.

  11. You shouldn't need to set your speeds that low. Bufferbloat only occurs when your connection is saturated i.e. all your bandwidth is used up, with Congestion Control that will not happen so while I understand the want for that high grade it's not actually as necessary as you think.

  13. The console is probably showing as another device now on the router so you'll need to add that to the Geo-Filter. Check the Device Manager and the IP and match it with the IP on the console.
  14. Disable Steady Ping, that'll be it as it raises the ping by design, should be more as you expect after that
  15. If you could get us the ID when you're able to that would be really helpful Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page showing what you see when this happens please?
  16. How long did you leave the console unplugged for? It makes sense if a server connection hasn't been severed yet but should only take a few minutes. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

  22. What version were you on then? The process is intermediary > RC14, if you can't upgrade to RC14 from intermediary then its intermediary > RC10 > RC14. Did you follow these steps? You don't need to do these download steps on the R3 no.
  23. Did you go through the procedure of upgrading to the intermediary firmware and then to RC14? If you're on the intermediary firmware still that will explain why nothing is working
  24. Do you have speed test bypass enabled/disabled? What percentages are you using? In some cases SmartBOOST priorities can interfere with the test results. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  25. In terms of R3 settings there isn't really anything major you need to change, just remember to adjust the speed on the R3 and enter the R3 in the new modem DMZ if applicable.
