The gains are minimal. TV should connect to the XR if possible. You can activate IPv6 on the XR but only if it's handling the main connection, if its in the DMZ then no need. You only need this if your ISP supports IPv6.

Thanks for the IDs! You don't need to worry about the IPs and while it is best to be in bridge mode it's not necessary, you can have the R3 in its DMZ instead

Have you swapped out the ethernet cable? That could be a big reason if you haven't tried it already

Long weekend due to national holiday on Monday so I won't hear anything until Tuesday and even then it won't be an immediate edition, we have a list of games to add but we will get to it

I would suggest the second option - having the XR handle VLAN is not a requirement nor will it give you better experience

What do you see when trying to access the interface? While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.

Did you factory reset after the update? If not that could be why, try that and see if it works please

What firmware version are you on currently? Last thing may be to try a firmware upgrade via TFTP
