  1. I've given you Early Access, the features I mentioned above are not yet included https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  2. As above this was an issue that should be resolved now. I've given you Early Access so you can upgrade to the firmware there in case the advice above doesn't help https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  3. The only thing you'll lose by not using the DMZ is having an Open NAT but in my opinion people put too high of an importance on this as all it does is affect how you connect to people but as most games use servers now, even for chatting this is less of an issue. If you do play with people frequently and you do notice issues connecting to them that will be the issue. It doesn't really make sense why the ping would be so erratic using it, unless you just need to fine tune Congestion Control.
  4. It's likely that the router upgraded itself to the latest public version - you can disable auto update on the firmware update page so you'll need to go back to the beta firmware to be on the latest DumaOS version. The physical setup is good, you've done that correctly. The QoS setup looks fine but I'd suggest using Bandwidth Allocation in the device mode instead. I don't know just from the Congestion Control percentages if that's good for your connection or not, it's something you'll need to monitor and tinker with yourself. For consoles don't pick the specific game on the Geo-Filter, just select manual and it should add with the Games Console service. Fortnite is a weird one as it only tries to connect you to a server when it's actually loading you in to the pre-game run around lobby area & so that's the only time the router can block it which may result in a longer wait to get returned to the game search lobby. It may be faster to toggle filtering mode off, search, wait to see where it shows on the map/what it pings & then quit if needed and re-search until you get the server you want. The DMZ is fine, you don't need to get a new router specifically to have a modem mode option.
  5. It's tied to the cookies in your browser so if you have the browser set to clear cache/cookies every time you close the browser or tab for example then it will show you the tour each time. Ensure cache/cookies persist for the interface and once completed shouldn't show again
  6. We've just responded to your email. If you're getting that low a ping and you're still having trouble then it's not the Geo-Filter you need necessarily, though you can block any of the bad servers when you come across them and in theory the more you do that the better it will be. You can't filter between the servers in your country as they'll be located in the same place but you can block any bad ones you play on.
  7. It's no longer needed as the latest XR1000 public firmware version includes DumaOS 3.3
  8. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.
  9. No it doesn't, it's a DumaOS 4 feature only so only available on the R3 and the R2 in Early Access
  10. Good to hear, thanks for the ID, I'll pass it on!
  11. I've given you Early Access so you can upgrade to that and see if it helps: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Does it get past that message or you mean it stays on that forever unless you reboot? Check the Geo-Filter map (fully zoomed out) when it happens, there is likely a blocked icon on the map, if you add that to your allow list it should stop it happening - you may need to do it a few times after that to ensure you catch all the servers responsible. If you then provide the IDs of those servers we can add them to the whitelist.
  12. Good to hear! As above, they can be unreliable at the moment, so setting manually would be best. Speedtest.net once for your full speed or just enter what you pay for if you know you get that. Then start with 70% for Download/upload for Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced) and experiment from there to find what works best for you.
  13. Do a factory reset from the interface, close the interface/tab, wait 5 minutes then access, go through Setup and see if it continues please
  14. Have you ever been able to play on US servers for ranked? I would imagine they look at ping more heavily in ranked play and so as the ping is very high it may be very difficult for you to get a game. I know they were also experimenting with a ping limit/ping method for matchmaking back in 2018 so that may also be effecting it. Your settings are correct so in terms of the router it's doing everything it can.
  15. No worries, do keep us updated, would be interested to hear what they find.
  16. I've given you Early Access so you can upgrade to that version to see if it is improved https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  17. Good to hear! If the VPN isn't applying to your device then it's just a coincidence unless the ports being used are the same and its getting confused but its unlikely
  18. That's correct for full speeds so fingers crossed it stays that way this time, if not let us know!
  19. Thanks for that, it all seems fine. Are you seeing it on all devices or just the specific PC you're using? Do you get higher speeds over WiFi? How have you set Congestion Control?
  20. Thanks! If it's blocking an authentication server then it may try and connect you via a different route which could cause it. After allowing it do you notice its improved?
  21. Could you provide a screenshot of the WAN & LAN pages when the issue happens please?
  22. The Ireland server connection should be allowed, it's for authentication, if it's actually blocking it then add that to the allow list and it should be better. If you could give us the ID we can whitelist it.
  23. So the first one is New Jersey but close enough and the second one is in Illinois so both are pretty much correct. It is then very bizarre that you're not getting a better ping to the server closest to you, that's likely an ISP routing issue that isn't something we could resolve. You could go to them about it and see if they can investigate, if so the IP for the NYC server is: 64.176.200.193
  24. Disable BI in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced and see if its better please
