  1. Try forcing servers slightly further away, even though they'll have a higher ping they may feel more stable for you
  2. I'd expect at the start, as it always happens that connection might need a little while to stabilize, they'll have very high player numbers and load on the servers currently. What's your average ping in game/on the Geo-Filter?
  3. Make sure you're using 80Mhz width for 5GHz not the higher value and see if it improves then
  4. NAT Type 2 is open, it just means you're connected behind a router, it can only be type 1 when connected direct to a modem. When using the Geo-Filter you are restricting the amount of potential servers you can connect to so the search will be slightly longer but it shouldn't be too slow. We're aware Ping Optimizer isn't 100% reliable currently and we're looking to fix that for the next version. In the meantime you can adjust Congestion Control manually to achieve the same effect which can be found in Ping Optimizer > Advanced.
  5. Good to hear, thanks for the update. If that is the cause then you may notice it once per week but it should restore itself.
  6. Can you access using the web browser on your phone?
  7. I believe so but we are making more updates, we're aware it's not entirely resolved
  8. The cloud is more likely to be up to date on the beta version so I would suggest it, we'll also be trying to get another cloud update out next week
  9. The fact that it's open on gamepass means you have an open NAT, it's just that the server testing your NAT may be blocked which is giving the moderate reading. If you disable the Geo-Filter and restart the PC you'll likely see it go to open.
  10. Could you provide the logs from when you try connecting a device to it please?
  11. It's likely that was an authentication server, this should be sorted with our cloud update. Disable Geo-Latency in the Geo-Filter settings and then restart the game and you should get games within your radius.
  12. The topic you made you haven't replied since my last comment there so if that's still a concern please post there and we can continue. In regards to your other comments, that's ongoing and it's always an ongoing task with making cloud updates to fix locations and whitelist certain servers. Games change servers all the time so we have to make changes frequently. Just to give you an idea, there are billions of IPv4 addresses, obviously not all belong to game servers. The Geo-Filter will do its best to geo-locate any address it comes into contact with but just based on those numbers, it's a statistical probability that actually the locations would be wrong, except they aren't, most of the time. When they are wrong though they can be wrong in very high numbers, it's not just a case of seeing a singular location keep coming up and thinking its just one server and so that's a quick fix. There could be literally thousands in that one location. We may correct what we think is all of them and then the week after they'll shift to using completely different ones and we may have only caught 20% for example. Ping Optimizer tests what your base ping is - this should be very close to the ping you would see under normal circumstances doing nothing on the network, then it will simulate a busy network and measure the ping again, it would be much higher this time. It will then experiment with Congestion Control percentages to see what percentage can bring your ping down as close to your base ping as possible while the network is still busy. So it's purpose isn't to lower your ping below your base ping but to ensure your network stays stable even in the busiest of times, preventing it from affecting your gameplay. Heatmap is very similar to to what I mentioned for the Geo-Filter above, I will chase the team again to do an update for the finals. I understand you're frustrated and I would be too in your situation, that's why I've given you a bit more information about what actually goes into fixing some of those problems you've described so you know why it can take longer than you might think. I'm absolutely happy for you to make a topic about your issues, especially re the Geo-Filter and we can see what we can do to help.
  13. Good looking out and thanks for updating the topic, glad you got it sorted in the end.
  14. Do you actually see servers on the map when playing the game? Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter showing what you see please? The router doesn't show the IPs of the game servers directly so it's not something we can provide.
  15. Take the ISP modem/router out of bridge mode and put the R3 WAN IP in its DMZ instead and then see if it happens again. If it does then connect directly to it and see if you have a connection (bridge wouldn't affect it in this scenario), if it doesn't then it'll be the modem or on the ISP side. If it does then it'll be the router and we can investigate further.
  16. Don't ever put your PC in the DMZ, it is a major security risk, remove it if you still have it set. Go to Settings > DHCP > Add Rule > Select PC and save. Also in DHCP settings set the lease to 10,000. Make those changes, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again.
  17. Do this: Quit the game completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter (if you've added it) Give the mobile the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up game If it's going to work that's the way to do it - then you can just enable/disable the Geo-Filter when needed. We haven't specifically tested the game though so no idea if you'll be able to filter.
  18. If you start from port 1 you will prioritize the entire device, this would include normal web browsing, downloads, streaming etc which would then lead to a negative gameplay experience.
  19. It'll just be something we need to update, prioritize the device for now which will also prioritize the game and we'll rectify it
  20. I'm good thanks, how are you? It's likely the service is out of date, thanks for letting us know, I'll get the team to update it. Instead prioritize gaming - it should still prioritize CoD, also prioritize your PC as a device which will add as a backup.
  21. It allows you to set a ping value/range that you want the game server to be under/within - it can result in servers being allowed outside your radius
  22. Does that mean that WiFi is working? Do you have the same issue if you connect directly to your ISP modem/router?
  23. What feature, you've not mentioned it yet
  24. No game really needs specific settings and someone else's settings that work perfectly for them may not work well for you. There also won't be perfect settings, there still will be times where you get lag or it doesn't feel as good just due to network factors outside of your control. If you really want to fine tune them then think of it like an experiment, change a setting, play a few games and determine the avg ping/feel, change a setting, repeat etc until you get settings that give you the best feeling reliably.
  25. Okay good to hear, if it happens again do try to look out for a pattern for when it happens
