  1. I'm not sure what you mean exactly: What are the speeds you pay for? Have you entered the new speeds into the router? What percentages have you set on Congestion Control? Do you have Speed Test bypass enabled? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
  2. Are you able to load the page in an incognito window? You wouldn't be able to do it from that page. Potentially you'd be able to do it on the Adblocker page but it's purpose isn't to block an entire website but it may work
  3. What do you need the IP addresses for specifically? The router can get the IPs yes but we don't show the IPs on the interface and we don't provide them. Also on Ping Heatmap the IPs shown there may not specifically be the game server but a server in the same location as where the game server is. For the Geo-Filter: Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give the PC the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.
  4. It should be absolutely fine for that size
  5. Zoom out fully on the map, invite them, there will be a blocked icon - yellow triangle - somewhere on the map, you click that then on the right of the page it will update with information about it and you can name and allow it there
  6. Good to hear! The test server it uses is hardcoded onto the router and so can't be updated via the cloud so unfortunately that server is not always available so I would recommend doing what you have been doing and setting manually
  7. Netduma.com There are guides on support.netduma.com, there are also quite a few video guides from the community and us on YouTube. Of course if you have any questions you can post here as well and we'll be happy to help.
  8. With the correct Geo-Filter settings done so that you would force a server within your radius you would see the game server outside your radius and therefore know it is a relay server being used so you would know where that server is located and potentially be able to ping it also.
  9. Yes & no. When it's not trying to use a relay server it does work, when it does then no it doesn't, however as mentioned some people have potentially found a workaround to that problem though I can't speak on its effectiveness.
  10. Of course, that's what we're here for!
  11. Yeah I've no idea why that would have occurred, maybe it would have switched over but that doesn't make sense really. Good to hear! Is your son connected to the gateway or the R3? Really ALL devices should be connected to the R3 for the best experience possible and UPnP should then handle his device, so no port forward needed on the gateway. To give you some info about why you're seeing NAT moderate after making the port forward on the gateway, with the R3 in the DMZ you've told the gateway - any traffic coming in, whatever it is just pass it straight on through to the R3. By adding the port forward to it you've told the gateway - any traffic coming in, follow the DMZ rule but also any traffic for this specific port pass it through to this other device as well. So you've created a contradiction, you're not telling it to pick whichever it wants, you're literally telling it to do both at the same time. It's like driving down the road and your sat nav says you must go straight on but also right as well, you can't do both and you can't split the car in half to fulfil travelling in both directions.
  12. It doesn't matter really it just needs to be one of those, I just say PlayStation as it's the first available console option. You don't need to reboot, just ensure you've set up the Geo-Filter before launching the game client (e.g. Steam etc - make sure it's not just minimized to the System Tray) & game.
  13. I don't think there are any Canadian servers for the game so you'll still have to connect to NA servers. It does work, to an extent, some have mentioned covering Japan as well as the area you want to force prevents the relay server issue happening but I can't guarantee that I will say FC players seem to have the hardest time getting a decent connection on the game regardless of the router they're using.
  14. I would still recommend it, the services can get out of date very quickly so it's just easier for you this way
  15. If you're not sure where the servers are (though you could use Ping Heatmap) then yes you can do it that way around but make sure to follow the whole process I mentioned again. Yes that would be peer to peer but it could also mean a server we are just not aware of
  16. That doesn't make sense, if its using the eth card connected to your gateway then it's connecting through the gateway, not the R3. More likely it's connected to the R3 and you're just getting an open NAT through the R3 - connecting to two different routers on your PC is likely to confuse the NAT situation even more. Keep UPnP enabled, you can keep the port forwards for the moment and see if you get an open NAT with the 10g card disabled - reboot the PC when you disable it. Did you do what I mentioned about just disabling the Geo-Filter before launching the game, do you get an Open NAT then? If so then you don't need to worry.
  17. There are no specific percentages for a connection method and what is best will differ for each person. Glad to hear you found the cause though, as above yes you can.
  18. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ or in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware/router version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.
  19. It's likely that due to the change in the connection method that the Congestion Control settings you have set work well with PPPoE but will need to be fine tuned/changed for DHCP, do that and see if you notice an improvement
  20. Firstly if you're using the Geo-Filter check the map when they try to connect, it's likely they're being blocked, click that icon and add them to your allow list and it should work. Otherwise you can put the PS5 in the DMZ on the R3.
  21. No it doesn't have to be on sleep mode at all
  22. Could you provide some information about what is happening exactly?
  23. I mean at this point it is unusable for you and so maybe a factory reset is something you should consider, either you don't and it stays like this, in which case you can't use it anyway or you factory reset and there is a chance it's still enabled and if not then you still can't use it so no harm done really. No there isn't SSH access
  24. It doesn't make any sense as they're just methods by which the router connect to the internet/your modem so it shouldn't affect WiFi at all. What do you mean by loses quality?
  25. Could you connect your PC via ethernet directly to your modem and then try playing and see if you get the same issue please?
