  1. That makes sense, the more interference from other devices in the area the more higher widths will suffer but they do allow for much faster speeds. CPU should be fine at that level but good to know thanks!
  2. Brilliant, thanks for the update!
  3. We're doing more work on IPv6 at the moment so it may be hit or miss currently. I haven't played the game personally but as the connection varies a lot using the expert mode when you know what the ping is may be beneficial.
  4. I don't have an ETA for an update, it will come to the R2 yes, this will be easier once the R2 has DumaOS 4 as well
  5. Not that I know of no, the connection would need to be severed for at least 2 minutes so it knows not to block it anymore so perhaps if you reboot and then try it again right away that's why it doesn't get allowed until you reboot the router.
  6. Not sure about xDefiant (we're still testing that game, it's not easy to filter) but for Fortnite you'll only see a server when you've actually loading into the matchmade game lobby - do you see it then or when in a game?
  7. Is this with the lowered Congestion Control settings also? Switch out the ethernet cable connecting the R3 to your modem and see if it's better after that
  8. Copy the WAN IP from the WAN Settings page on the R3, then access your ISP modem/router, find the DMZ option and paste it in there. Please let us know once you've done that. Also in the meantime, if you change the WiFi width to 80 do you get better speeds or range?
  9. Great thanks!
  10. The Ping Optimizer ping is completely different to your game ping - PO shows your base ping essentially, the ping you'll have before you connect to anything on the internet really so your game ping will be higher than this.
  11. I'm not sure, I'll need to check - what has your speed gone up to after changing the width?
  12. What do you mean it would automatically connect to your PC? Could you do a factory reset please and then see if the issue keeps happening? If it does I can get the dev team to take a look as they would be keen to get this sorted.
  13. What game is it you're trying to play and how have you added your PC to the Geo-Filter?
  14. Thanks for the update, I'm confident the team will be able to get this sorted shortly.
  15. Have a look at the URL when it gets blocked (it should show up), then add that to your whitelist and it should prevent it happening, if you also provide that URL to us we can get it added to the main whitelist
  16. Added: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Currently the publicly available firmware is the same as the latest firmware in Early Access
  17. Thanks for the report, could you forward the email back to us so we can see exactly what is happening? That'd be really helpful!
  18. NAT Type 1 = Open NAT connected direct to a modem NAT Type 2 = Open NAT connected to a router So it is impossible to get NAT Type 1 through the router, it's also unnecessary as you'll already be open
  19. Thank you for the report, I have let the team know so they can get this updated
  20. I have checked in again and the game was tested but we weren't able to filter the game unfortunately so it wasn't added. We'll re-test the game again to see if we can do anything to improve it, otherwise we'll put it in as a non recommended game so that it'll still work with Steady Ping on the R3.
  21. Try and access the sites with QoS enabled then grab the logs and post them here please
  22. Okay so what are their next steps to identify the issue?
  23. Have you upgraded to the latest firmware? https://forum.netduma.com/topic/55635-new-r3-firmware-40219/ As it could be an early firmware bug
  24. You would need to contact your provider about getting the config file, it's not something we can help with specifically
  25. You can use either really!
