It wouldn't affect the internet but does it let you into the interface if you pressed those buttons? Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and see if the disconnects become less frequent.
-
Thank you for this I will pass it on - does it reconnect when that happens? If you press retry or continue anyway can you get into the interface?
-
Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and then try again please
-
If you have it set to Auto that'll be why, make sure it's set to Always, otherwise disable Speed Test Bypass and try again

Router disconnects, have to manually reset it
Netduma Fraser replied to Simon Thomas's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Don't block that server, it is a authentication server required for online play and it's likely that blocking it has contributed to your issue of finding games. If you've done this for any other servers remove the blocks and see if you get games more often. Thank you for the remote access, unfortunately they'd need to access when the issue is happening, with us being in the UK and them already having a busy schedule it'll be hard to sync up. When it does happen if you could get the logs from here: http://192.168.77.1/cgi-bin/logs.txt (it should work even if you don't have access to the interface) it will provide more information so the team can figure it out. -
Hard to say really, once it leaves your home it's entirely dependent on the routing it takes and the hops along that route - it could be something as simple as congestion on that hop - that's why it's always a good idea to do pings to local websites where that would be less of an issue as well as a few different ones to rule it out
-
Start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.
-
It's based on the server it connects to at the time - as you can see on your bufferbloat test your minimum ping is 9 unloaded so the router hasn't raised your ping
-
Yeah it's fine, don't worry about the logs, it's primarily for the devs and as such has a lot of background processes that appear like issues
-
Thank you, we will be including more DPI updates for the game in the next firmware upgrade
-
It won't be necessary to change any MTU settings, you're very unlikely to notice any difference but you can try it if you wish. The reason you're seeing issues when using game servers on PingPlotter is because they don't respond to normal pings and so will timeout before they get to the final destination.

Are you experiencing disconnects on all devices or specific ones? Does the connection ever restore itself or do you always have to reboot? Do you reboot the repeater after the router, if not you will probably need to. The WPS button should work most of the time, if not at first then after another try, if not then it's possible the device you're trying with isn't compatible. What is the issue with HybridVPN? If you're going to rely on Ping Optimizer then it will provide results it thinks are the best, not on the basis of the results from a third party test. Adjust manually and you can reduce the values there.
-
Unfortunately not currently but it has been requested so it will likely come in future

Good to hear! For the WiFi: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No worries, is the livestream setup to be prioritized on SmartBOOST at all? Could you disable the protection options in Troubleshooting > Advanced and see if that helps please. -
It looks like you were doing a Ping Optimizer test based on the URL which will disconnect all devices while you do so, that part is normal. For the interface can you get the logs from here please: http://192.168.77.1/cgi-bin/logs.txt What happens if you click retry there? How did you reset exactly after the update?
-
Try the manual connect option there and see if you can connect then. You can install the app on multiple devices.

There are a few things that are not working as we'd like when HVPN is enabled and we're looking into that currently, it will get resolved!
-
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. That's fine if Steady Ping isn't always better for you, it may be you already have a very steady ping to the server.

The latest firmware is the same as the public release but I have given you access

Server update in eFootball 2024 ping heatmaps
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thanks, I'll pass this onto the team! -
It'll be 3.3 so it'll bring it in line with the XR450/500/700, that'll be the last of the feature updates and after that there will be bug fix updates every so often. I know work has been done in that area, I don't have a full change log yet of what is included so I can't say for certain at this stage.
