Brilliant to hear, thanks for the update! You're very welcome!
-
Do that and let us know how you get on
-
Use just passthrough on the modem, remove the port forwards, then just do the port forwards on the R3 and it should work

Strange Disconnects Cutting Off Internet Access

Is it once a day or more than once a day? DHCP can handle a lot more devices than that and not seeing any errors that would indicate that to be the case or a specific issue with that device. However, extend the lease to 10000, save, reboot from the interface, wait a few minutes then see if you get more uptime. If not, ensure everything has the reserved IP then disable DHCP entirely and see if that helps. -
It may be they don't provide the configs unfortunately, if that is the case there is no way to get it working through HybridVPN

That's great to hear, thanks for the update! It will be disabled by default from the next firmware onwards

How often are you noticing this behavior? -
Yes that's correct
-
It's the DHCP reservations button that you want from the first image

Yeah that hop is nothing to be concerned with, you just want to focus on the bottom graph which isn't showing any loss. It'll be one of the last hops yeah. I'm not sure about the configuration of the NICs in MACs but on a PC they have options coming out of your ears so there are settings there you could experiment with to see if you notice any difference but I'm fairly confident in this scenario it's the lag compensation working against you.

Sounds like that could be it, feel free to provide a screenshot (preferably from a PC) if you want to double check

Do the MACs use private/random MAC addresses at all? If so can you disable that and see if it still happens please? -
Exactly as above - looks like the screenshot you provided was for Internet Settings which you don't want to change. Could also be in LAN Settings.
-
Yes it would cause Steady Ping to stop working if you disabled it
-
It won't be long now for the update but in theory yes you could do that, however I don't think you will be able to get back to DumaOS if you change your mind.

Just to clarify then, you're not using the Eti router and instead using a pure (no WiFi) modem with the R3 handling PPPoE and VLAN is that correct? If so then for NAT you'll need to port forward for the game on the R3 itself.
-
Have you done a factory reset since updating? It's a big change in firmware so would definitely suggest doing so as it'll be a lot smoother after that.

What percentages have you tried with your speeds set to the expected values? It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

It will work on PC as well yes - easy way to tell if it is working is it'll show on the graph when you're gaming whether gaming is showing/being prioritized. If it isn't then consider adding the PC as a device instead to prioritize. Your ping is ridiculously stable and so in networking terms there should be no issues with lag if it continues to be that consistent when playing. However, in CoD land, it's quite possible you're being lag compensated due to your steady low ping. In which case try forcing servers slightly further away and see if they play better for you even if the ping is a bit higher.
-
Put the speeds you pay for/expect ideally. That'll be your base ping essentially, it does have some variance but not too bad, that's the best you can hope to achieve when there is traffic and you're utilizing QoS. So do it with activity and see how close you can get to those results using the method I mentioned.

You will need the OpenVPN configuration file for the server, do they provide this to you?

Keep getting trying to reconnect to the router

Was the physical setup or any settings changed just before it started? What firmware version are you on? If you start a new topic we can help you there -
Random disconnects with new firmware

Okay interesting, is it possible to try without the switches or is it not possible due to the distance away from the router? -

On the iOS devices if you disable the private/random MAC addresses option does that stop it happening? -

Interesting, if you find the device in the offline section does it give it an IP or is it blank? Does the MAC address there match the MAC address for the connection method on the device?
