  1. What firmware version are you on currently? Close the interface, unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then access and see if it loads please.
  2. I think you'll have to do a factory reset from the interface to resolve it
  3. Thanks for letting us know, we're hoping to get a firmware out as soon as possible that should help
  4. As above:
  5. Don't worry about the auto optimizer, depending on the servers used it could fail/not give the best results. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the XR?
  6. You don't need to have the UK server covered, it's already pre-allowed. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like - I would suggest using the radius rather than polygon mode as you're only covering a single area - do make sure to cover a few servers Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.
  7. As above, it doesn't work like that, the game doesn't use more than it needs, gaming is a very low bandwidth intensive application/service. What you're seeing for the usage of the game is accurate.
  8. You just download it https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5nk0fxkhzosvp2/XR500-V2.3.2.134-dumaos33-rc14.img?dl=0 and upload it to the router as you would normally, no special procedure needed.
  9. Could you provide the log from the R2 when you attempt the connection please?
  10. Reinstall the firmware please and then see if it loads correctly
  11. None of that would be necessary to get the console to be connected - is the console using automatic network setting or manual details? Does it work if you connect it via WiFi?
  12. What settings have you changed on the router specifically for the device, e.g. VPN, Internet Rules, Port Forwarding, DMZ etc?
  13. Is that Safari you're using to access? If so please try another browser and see if it still happens please
  14. Please try in this order, testing after each change: Disable SIP ALG on the WAN page Disable port scan and dos protection on the WAN page Disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control
  15. There is no way to guarantee a perfect game every single time, if the ping is stable at the time and you've managed to get the server you want that's what the server can specifically control. Forcing other servers, even if they're slightly further away with a slightly higher ping may provide a better experience if the server is less under load. Using Steady Ping can help put you more in sync with a server with a more consistent ping but this won't work for every game. Are there differences in ping when it is good vs bad?
  16. It may sound counter intuitive but could you disable UPnP and port forwarding, also no DMZ please then see if it works please
  17. It wasn't full proof unfortunately, just a theory, could you disable SmartBOOST fully from the SmartBOOST menu temporarily and see if it becomes more stable please?
  18. When doing the VPN method, are you only applying it to yourself or both of you?
  19. What router/firmware version are you on? Close the interface, unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then access and see if it loads then please. If so, go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it is more stable.
  20. Go to Settings > DHCP > Add Rule > Click your device > Click Save
  21. Sounds about right, most games don't switch servers entirely when going to a new iteration, they might add a server here or there but it's not too common.
  22. This is the definition from the waveform site prior to doing the test: "Bufferbloat is a software issue with networking equipment that causes spikes in your Internet connection’s latency when a device on the network uploads or downloads files." So by that very definition, if you're connected to your modem with basically no other devices being used at the time, there are no downloads or uploads going on to cause bufferbloat. So it cannot be bufferbloat. There are very few situations that could be causing it with that in mind but none of which we can help with - if it's happening direct from the modem the issue is above what the router can control: Faulty modem Incorrect results on the test - You could run PingPlotter to check the stability of your line - if you're experiencing this in game though then it's unlikely, unless the game is reporting incorrectly, however the changes of them both reporting incorrectly at the same time is low. ISP Congestion - Bufferbloat essentially caused by too many people in your area using the same provider and overloading the exchange - if this is the case then during peak times/days it would be particularly bad, with it being much better during off peak times - nothing you can really do about this Bad routing from the ISP
  23. Click the icon top left of the Device Manager panel and click delete offline devices. They're nothing to worry about, they're either devices we weren't able to determine a name/type for automatically or a device that may have been connected via different methods and so created a different device.
  24. Set the MAC address manually to mirror the one on the bottom of the router and see if it's more stable then please. As we're exploring all ramifications of that changing and see if it helps please.
