How have you set the EE hub to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Set a reserved IP for your gaming device on the router then reboot, wait 4 minutes and see if it happens again please

Permanently reduce bandwidth for a device?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? -
New CPU Usage Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Mr MuRFiE's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
Thanks for that, there is a theory from a few team members that misclassified traffic might be throwing off your priorities and be causing your issues, in which case an upcoming cloud update should fix that. In the meantime to check the theory, could you reboot the router and then see if anything is being misclassified as Xbox/Cloud Gaming and being prioritized when it shouldn't. Then in that 2 weeks timeframe check again when it starts to go downhill, if it does, could you remove the cloud gaming priority and monitor it again please? In the meantime we'll try to reproduce it. -
Can't connect to new york server only
Netduma Fraser replied to loa5000's topic in Call of Duty Support
Do the above suggestions help with this? -
You'll definitely need Ping Assist to be set to 0 if you want to force servers. Then in other circumstances it looks like you've allowed servers which account for the other servers outside your radius being allowed. Remove those and then it should work better.
-
For Ping Optimizer, simple will only do a test for the download, expert will do download & upload so it's up to you what you would like to configure but I'd usually suggest expert. I would necessarily recommend turning off the router that often, it is designed to be always on and low power. However, if you do want to do that I would suggest rebooting from the interface at some point after you've made your changes as it will act as a hard save. You can then turn off if required. No you don't.

Does it recover itself, do you need to reboot etc? Is there any pattern with device or internet usage as to when it happened?
-
It's not something we'd take lightly. At the very least a month yes, I think they want to put it through their SQA process more which is why it's delayed.

The standard text editor will work

That's the VPN protocol you want to connect using - check your VPN provider for the configs they provide, OpenVPN or Wireguard.
-
If they provide you with the config files then yes it should

I'd suggest modem > R2 > other router otherwise you'll lose the effectiveness of QoS. No specific settings that you need to change for this setup.

New CPU Usage Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Mr MuRFiE's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
What changed two months ago, was it an update, changed settings, addition of a device etc? Do you notice it more when a lot of device are being used at the time regardless of their usage? -
When it happens again could you have a look at the CPU usage in troubleshooting please and take a screenshot?

I can pass it on but I couldn't say when the next update may be -
It looks like it's working there but I can't see Aus, can you show the whole map so I can also see what it shows in Aus - preferably on the PC interface
-
Is this since an update or from the beginning? Does it show up as anything else instead?

Server update in eFootball 2024 ping heatmaps
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in Netduma R3 Support
70% is a good starting point but do experiment with the percentages as you may find one that works better for you - also the further away you play the worse it will be, that's not something we can specifically resolve. -
Is it just the gaming that's disconnecting or the device or other devices? Do you see anything blocked on the Geo-Filter when this happens?
-
We'll take a look, thanks for the request!

It doesn't really work like that, how did you get on with the Congestion Control percentages, did it help? -

What are the specific issues that are occurring? Is there anything network wise that happens within that schedule?
