  1. The servers can change/go out of date quickly, we'll update it again next week
  2. If you're already playing on a low ping then there may not be much you can do but: What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  3. It's not needed anymore, the latest public version you can get from the above link has it.
  4. This is your topic now I just meant in general and going forward. In your topic about the issue you just referred to, we offered, even though you were outside the warranty to provide a replacement for you, you just needed to email us. That was 2 years ago. Checking emails you emailed us last month about this and at the time I replied saying "You weren't left without a resolution, it does say there that we would arrange a replacement for you. However, as you've waited 2 years to contact us a replacement is now no longer possible, we don't sell the R2 anymore and don't have any spare. We also don't provide a repair service. I can offer you 30% off an R3 if you're interested but that's the best I can do now. You could sell the router as spares/repairs on eBay." A month on that hasn't changed. We do care about customers being happy, that's why we originally offered to replace it outside of warranty.
  5. I'm not sure what you mean but it's impossible to delete the firmware from the router. Could you clarify what you mean exactly? Can you provide a screenshot? It's a support forum so you should make a topic to get help with your issues, I get lots of PMs and it's not possible to respond to them all, it's far better to make a topic where I can see it and other people can help too.
  6. Ideally on a PC but from that screenshot it looks like you have filtering off for the device, scroll up and check the device has filtering switched on
  7. https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR1000/XR1000_UM_EN.pdf Page 29 for PPPoE Page 120 for VLAN I don't have an XR1000 to hand currently to provide a screenshot
  8. Can you provide a screenshot of the map showing what you're seeing please?
  9. Go to Settings on the router and its the first page, say you need a login and enter those details. Then there is a separate VLAN section in settings where you can enter that number.
  10. Presumably you're connecting most of the devices to the Giga hub given your speeds, that is why you can't seem to stabilize the bufferbloat test more as the router is not controlling your entire network. It's also kind of unnecessary for you to run the test through the router as it's only capable of 1Gbps so a third of your connection so you won't be able to saturate your connection (which is when bufferbloat happens) assuming you're doing downloads through the giga so I wouldn't worry about the results at all
  11. That's when you're launching the game, wait in the lobby until they disappear then follow the instructions and you'll just get 1 appearing
  12. Do you require PPPoE/VLAN/DHCP Identifiers for a connection? They should have given you instructions on what is required
  13. That is very strange! I can't think why that would be, how you're playing it shouldn't really make a difference. Just in case it helps for whatever reason do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.
  14. You will use but the XR300s are out of service, meaning they're on an old firmware version and are no longer updated. The cloud (used to keep servers up to date) I don't think will work with it any longer so it may not work very well. Also your issue may be due to ISP peak time congestion, in which case the Geo-Filter (server selection feature) likely won't help you.
  15. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.

E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  17. Yes it appears they've merged 3.3 with the latest public builds now
  18. Yes we're aware of that, it'll be fixed in the update when approved
  19. I don't know if they have set times or not but we need to get their say so for when we can push updates
  20. Ping Optimiser can be a bit hit or miss as the servers are not always available and they don't have a huge abundance of servers available. Great to see the results you're getting there with it! It's adding about 10ms to your ping which is the round trip time to absorb any jitter you might get. I would assume the tick rate isn't reading correctly as it's quite low otherwise, it's the rate at which the server updates information, higher the better. Steady Ping isn't for everyone, some people love it, others not so its just about finding what works best for you really. Yeah 632 is absolutely plenty - 25Mbps is a 4k stream roughly so you have more than enough. Usually we say to prioritize your device as well as gaming to act as a backup for prioritizing but if you're regularly downloading on the console itself while playing then probably best just to prioritize gaming.
  21. They're testing an update currently so assuming that goes well they'll push it out incrementally
  22. Okay so it is accessing, it's nothing to do with your certificates. Reboot the router, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then attempt access. You can also try accessing from routerlogin.net without the /adv_index.htm on the end. Good suggestion, I'll add that now.
  23. It doesn't look like you've attached a photo, can you try again?
