  1. Are you saying it's underperforming purely on the speeds you're getting through it? If so, what speeds are you getting via ethernet to speedtest.net? If not, what is your metric you're using to determine it's underperforming? With some ISPs swapping out the main router completely can result in speeds being throttled for a week or so. You can either wait to see if they get better or if you copy the MAC address of the ISP router and set the XR to use that instead it gets around the throttle as it thinks the original router is still being used. Being biased I'd say yes but I'd need more information about what it is you're wanting exactly to give you a better answer. Short answer is the XR series won't get DumaOS 4 and updates will be limited/far between. So if you want more up to date software with newer features the R3 would be the better option.
  2. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? Are you testing via ethernet or WiFi?
  3. You can prioritize the PS5 specifically rather than target gaming etc but if it's not doing anything then there won't be anything to prioritize
  4. Chrome might be forcing the browser to connect via HTTPS which doesn't work well or you may have an Adblocker installed on it that is interfering. The southern one there will be the London one, it's just not pinpoint accurate on the map
  5. Can you get a game with the Geo-Filter disabled? Are you connected to a VPN?
  6. The team are going to attempt to reproduce the issue to see if they're able to resolve it, we'll come back to you
  7. Same as above, it will definitely be included when the next Geo-Filter update goes out
  8. If you have Ping Assist disabled as well then cover Japan entirely as well and then see if it works better. They use relay servers which can get you games outside your radius, apparently by covering Japan it prevents that happening
  9. HybridVPN is a VPN client (software you use to connect to a VPN server), usually a VPN client can only be installed on a PC and would then apply to the entire PC. So being on a router you can apply it to any device on your network. The Hybrid aspect is that instead of it just applying to the device as a whole you can specify services/ports specifically that you want to run through the VPN. For example, you want to use a VPN to watch Netflix shows that are available in the US but you like gaming at the same time. Normally you'd have to apply the VPN to your whole device and therefore your gaming would suffer. With HybridVPN you can apply the VPN just to Netflix, that means that gaming goes through your normal connection and is unaffected by it.
  10. Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!
  11. Set Ping Assist to 0, restart the game/console and try again
  12. They said it's 100% something they will be fixing for the next Geo-Filter update but I don't have a date for that currently
  13. I've provided the options in my previous response, if you're looking for a router then the R3 from us would be what I'd suggest. The VPN from your screenshot is something different completely.
  14. You can't set it up on the router to apply to your PS5. Your router doesn't support the HybridVPN feature. You'd have to get one of our routers that does or find another alternative to applying the VPN to your console.
  15. Ah, the above it correct. If you're using it on PC you'll have to download their software or download an OpenVPN client and connect that way
  16. On the router interface on the HybridVPN page
  17. Open it with notepad, copy the contents, paste into the configuration box on HybridVPN, enter your credentials and connect
  18. You login with the default credentials admin / password or with the details you would have set during the setup wizard
  19. Glad to hear you got it sorted
  20. The router hardware ports are limited to 1Gbps, it will not be possible to reach more than this through the R3.
