Not Upload Firmware, Invalid Firmware...
Netduma Fraser replied to Erick Paiz's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That's a big jump in firmware, try incrementally at least once then try again https://support.netduma.com/firmwares/netduma-r2/ -

Do you have the Geo-Filter enabled for the PS5? If so disable it, reboot the console and then see if it works please

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The Geo-Filter it wouldn't affect at all, SmartBOOST it shouldn't affect either, the only sort of reports we've had concerning those two are disconnects with PPPoE, though not everyone is affected and should be fixed in the next Early Access firmware. There was also a report about speeds being reduced when using VLAN which I've let the team know. If you were to get these issues then yes it would be the most reliable, otherwise it doesn't really matter, the extra hop doesn't do much in terms of adding latency -
QOS UPLOAD NOT WORKING
Netduma Fraser replied to Seomos17's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Check the Network monitor when it happens, is there any other device using a significant amount of bandwidth? -
QOS UPLOAD NOT WORKING
Netduma Fraser replied to Seomos17's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Good to hear, thanks for posting the solution, have a great weekend! -
I can't really give any advice then based on feelings if there isn't any degradation in measurable stats like ping, speeds etc
-
What does that mean though, how does it manifest?
-
Added - do a factory reset after you've confirmed the update has gone through successfully (i.e. you've accessed DumaOS 4 for the first time)

No option for Wifi Enhancer
Netduma Fraser replied to Ragnarok96's topic in EE WiFi Enhancer support
Try going to Manage > WiFi Controls then you should see an option to setup WiFi enhancer at the top if you haven't set it up yet -
Need Help With Network Performance Issue (Video Included)
Netduma Fraser replied to qakos's topic in Call of Duty Support
Your connection definitely looks very stable, try forcing other servers, even if the ping is slightly higher, that should improve your experience -
That aspect they work both the same way, if there is no active traffic then there is nothing to prioritize, there also wouldn't be any need as there is no purpose to prioritize something that isn't doing anything. It's like choosing the fastest route to a destination without getting in the car and driving there, unless you get in the car and start driving that fastest route doesn't mean anything

Ping Heatmap not working
Netduma Fraser replied to ASD4157's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Chrome in Settings will be forcing HTTPS so if you disable that/add the interface as an exception it should then work better -
Good to hear, thanks for your purchase!

Ping Heatmap not working
Netduma Fraser replied to ASD4157's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Does it work in incognito mode? Ping Heatmap is to get an idea of where the servers are located so it informs your decisions about where to force servers using the Geo-Filter. The London server being slightly apart won't make any differences at all, it is still the London server -
If you've done this: Disable Geo-Latency Disable Ping Assist Enable the Geo-Filter before launching the game If you make any changes on the Geo-Filter while you're on the game then restart the game Haven't manually added/blocked any servers that might interfere with the search Then yes like just the game using the relay servers to put you wherever it wants unfortunately

Ping Heatmap not working
Netduma Fraser replied to ASD4157's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
They're different features and won't show the servers in the exact same positions so that's fine. I don't even know how you're getting that low a ping to begin with but no it's very unlikely you'll be optimize 2ms to 1ms, that difference is also imperceptible so you wouldn't notice a difference. If it fails again resync the cloud for heatmap and see if it pings -
NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
@frontline1967have you tested that 70% for download/upload on Congestion Control are the ideal values for your connection? It sounds like you may need to adjust these further: Follow this guide https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/ while downloading & start with 95% for Congestion Control (set to Always), check results, decrease by 10%, check, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good & then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. How do you have SmartBOOST setup specifically (not Congestion Control)? The NAT status can be impacted by the Geo-Filter blocking the server used to test the NAT status, it doesn't mean you're switching to moderate, it just means it can't read that it's open but it still will be open. To confirm, when it shows moderate, disable the Geo-Filter, reboot the game and check again. -
What do you mean by flooded exactly?
-
Disable the Geo-Filter, do you get a game then? By recent update do you mean a game update or a router update you've done?
