  1. We'll continue in your other topic https://forum.netduma.com/topic/60062-everything-connected-but-still-no-internet-or-ethernet/#comment-445856
  2. What is the modem/router the R3 is connected to to get internet? Can you provide pictures of the back of the R3 how it's connected and the back of your modem how its connected please?
  3. What is the actual issue you're having though? The port rules themselves don't really explain anything about the issue. Also if you could provide a link to the port requirements that would be helpful
  4. The speed reduction is due to PPPoE then. If you can't use another modem/router to handle PPPoE so you can get higher speeds on the R2 then set to 300.
  5. Oh okay interesting, someone else said disabling the Geo-Filter didn't work for them. It's odd you can't see anything on the map now, it is added with the console service correct? The device IP matches with the IP shown for the device you think it is on the Device Manager?
  6. Where are you testing the speeds? Is the R2 in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router? Are ALL devices connected to the R2? If you truly can't get more than 300 and everything is done and set correctly then I'd suggest setting to 300.
  7. Try making a Traffic Controller rule to allow ALL traffic through to the device and see if that helps at all
  8. Ping Assist doesn't rely on it being a player host, it works with servers too
  9. The game uses dedicated servers so the other players will not appear on the Geo-filter so you can't block them
  10. What is the modem/router the R3 is connected to to get internet? Reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then check again
  11. Nice one, thanks for posting the solution, really appreciate it!
  12. The ping test isn't 100% reliable so I would suggest using a different way to measure the effectiveness of your Congestion Control settings to find what works best for you. Thanks for your feedback about wanting to see a router with better gig support, I'll let the team know!
  13. Do a factory reset and then don't change any settings at all, can you connect to all the games?
  14. In terms of software yes it would be a definite upgrade, the XR1000 won't get DumaOS 4 and we've got some good features coming. Realistically though, you're getting a great ping when gaming, if you're wanting to upgrade to reduce that ping even further, even with DumaOS 4 that's going to be quite hard to do. There will be a limit of what the minimum ping you're capable of getting to the servers is and you're probably not far off. Given you're also just playing one game mainly there isn't much variation you need to do.
  15. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Does the WAN Settings page show the router is getting internet?
  16. Unfortunately not, NG have marked it as end of service
  17. We are still working on updates including ACC yes
  18. Thanks for that, have you done any port forwarding, disabled UPnP, using DMZ etc on the R3?
  19. Yes & No, you're referring to ACC which on its own wouldn't resolve the ISP congestion issue
  20. Yes that's peak time congestion, it's a common occurrence regardless of the router or ISP you use, it happens in every country. More people go online in your area during peak times as more people have come home from work/school so there is more load on the providers
  21. It networking there are 65535 ports that traffic uses so by adding a rule for all ports you are essentially prioritizing the entire device
  22. No it's a router only so you'll have to connect it to an existing modem/ONT via ethernet to get internet
  23. A proper factory reset can be done by going to Settings > Administration > Backup Settings > Erase or by holding the reset button in the back of the router (you'll need something thin like a pin) for 30 seconds, releasing and then waiting 4 minutes before accessing the interface. If that doesn't work then you'll need to do #2 to resolve it.
