  1. Explain it like this modem > XR1000 > WiFi booster > XR1000 > All devices etc. I can't really advise without knowing the layout, you could draw it if that's easier and provide a picture. There isn't a bridge mode but there is AP mode, essentially shuts down all router functions and just makes it provide WiFi. If you're doing a speed test at the bottom of the setup and there are devices connected to all different points in the setup then your speeds probably will be lower because everything above it can take bandwidth away from it
  2. Okay thanks, I'll pass it on. I don't think it's been added to the Geo-Filter at all
  3. I totally understand and appreciate that some people may not want to tinker very much. It would be remiss of me not to try and get people to use the router for the reason they bought it in the first place and most often if someone doesn't use it anymore it's because the settings are too much or not fully understood and that's where I come in
  4. From the default enabled options it's very likely Geo-Latency is the cause, let us know how you get on with it disabled.
  5. Added, though the firmware has been removed temporarily. That would be for NG so I wouldn't expect so.
  6. No on the R3, you're setting a static/reserved local (LAN) IP for the Xbox itself. Super easy on the R3: Go to Settings > DHCP Click Add Rule Click your device Click save and that's it!
  7. Glad to hear they're having a good experience, if we're not given the opportunity to help we can't unfortunately. It's a router that requires fine tuning and experimentation to find what works best, it may require a bit more effort but the pay off will be better.
  8. That's quite a broad question without any insight into your network - what does your physical network look like and what are you wanting to achieve?
  9. In this case the IP address for your Xbox renewed itself, set a static/reserved IP for the Xbox in Settings and that should prevent it happening again in future
  10. Make sure to upgrade to the recent update we put out on Friday and then resync the cloud and check it again please. I'm not sure if we've determined whether the game can be filtered or not yet
  11. There are no specific recommendations for ranges of jitter/ping, as it all depends on actually what your connection is capable of/how stable your line is and the connection to the server as well as the server stability. If you have devices connected to an upstream router then I would definitely suggest having everything connected to the R3 as the R3 can't effectively control the network otherwise
  12. Sorry to hear you're having that experience, I'd suggest making a new topic and we can help you there
  13. Grab the logs when it next happens please and we can take a look
  14. Looks like you've had great advice, let us know if you have any more questions!
  15. I haven't heard anything currently, they're looking at the unable to downgrade on the XR1000 issue right now as a matter of urgency. I'll chase them on this though
  16. Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when you get a game outside your radius please? What specific apps is it not blocking on the TV?
  17. That won't have been official advice and should not have been done as it may not be possible to come back to XR500 firmware. The best thing you can try would be upgrading via TFTP https://forum.netduma.com/topic/54949-dumaos-is-not-running/?do=findComment&comment=407569
  18. Do a factory reset on this version then check again please. If it continues provide another log please
  19. You must be the only one that has been able to downgrade normally, we were able to reproduce it easily but that was the bug that caused us to remove it for the moment. The team are looking into it and once they can resolve that they'll release it again. We're fixing some issues with our cloud system that makes updating things like that more difficult than it needs to be currently, that's why it's a bit slower in some cases to get cloud updates out for specific games. This isn't helped by routers running different versions of QoS. I'll bring it up to the colleague who'd take care of it so he can get that sorted when it's easier to do so. Added, though the firmware has been removed temporarily but you'll be in the right place when a new one is available.
  20. Close the tab, unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes then access and see if it works please
  21. Give the new update in early access we posted yesterday a try please, hopefully that will prevent it happening again
  22. Thank you for the suggestion, I will pass it on to the team
  23. In the first post if you scroll down you'll see the link for the RC14 firmware which is what you want - it will appear as .134 after you've done it but if you used the public .134 version you won't be on it
  24. The only option available is entering an address so if that's the only way it is working then that will be the only way
