  1. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect.
  2. Are you seeing any servers blocked outside your radius when this happens?
  3. The cause of the issue won't be something that can be fixed by changing any settings, it would require a software fix and I couldn't possibly say when another upgrade may come about. Really the only thing to do for the issue is to reboot the router, that's what will reload the apps again, as you've seen it doesn't work every time, it could take a few times - important that once you've started the reboot to exit the interface and wait 4 minutes before attempting access again otherwise it could interupt the startup. You could attempt to re-install the firmware via TFTP which bypasses the boot process incase there is an issue there.
  4. Yes that's possible, it's likely authentication/relay servers i.e. they connect you to a server, potentially Japan, to then connect you to a server closer to home
  5. You should see it there already, resync the Geo-Filter cloud and see if it appears
  6. DumaOS 4 won't be coming to the XR series unfortunately
  7. To answer your questions: If you're using the XR1000 now, as you posted in R2 Support, if you have the R2 then yes if you upgrade to DumaOS 4 in Early Access Not possible with the current router settings Not possible with the current router settings They use relay servers which makes it difficult to reliably Geo-Filter, however I have heard that keeping the Japanese region allowed that this then makes Geo-Filtering work correctly so use polygon mode to cover that area in addition to the servers you want to play on and see if that helps (reboot the game once you've made that change) The DMZ is unlikely to make any real difference - if you're playing on PC do not DMZ the PC, it is a major security risk See #4
  8. HybridVPN can't go down or anything, if a config is used that can be connected to it will work. If you rebooted the router with the VPN enabled that could have potentially caused it, in which case a factory reset would fix it, otherwise all I can go off there is the log generated
  9. Thanks for your persistence, they are having a bit of trouble getting it supported but they'll go over your captures again and see if they can get it done. We may need some more captures if that's alright? Should be fine for now but will let you know if that would be helpful
  10. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It should work better then
  11. The CoD series gets outdated regularly, it will be resolved in a cloud update we're testing currently, I'd suggest prioritizing your device for the moment.
  12. BO6 is definitely on heatmap, it does sound like you need to resync the cloud on Heatmap and Geo-Filter and then try again We're testing a cloud update internally currently and then we'll make it public.
  13. If you factory reset the firmware then don't restore from your backup file as the backup file may have the issue saved and so you're just bringing the issue back immediately. Factory reset either through the interface or the button on the back of the router will not change the firmware version.
  14. As above, does your ISP/connection allow for IPv6 to be used? Otherwise simply enabling IPv6 on the router won't work.
  15. That's great to hear, thanks for the update!
  16. We're aware of that, use Congestion Control manually for the moment to achieve the same effects. We don't give out any ETAs for firmware
  17. How have you added your device to the Geo-Filter exactly? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
  18. Select the WAN setup and you can skip from there and continue to complete the wizard. Once complete reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet
  19. It's absolutely fine to do so, you're just applying the DMZ to the XR1000 and then the XR firewall will protect all the devices connected to it. You are absolutely right in that you shouldn't put your PC in the DMZ. No a reboot through the interface will keep all your settings intact.
  20. Just to clarify, you're getting the same error with both the VPN on its own and the Geo-Filter on its own? Does that then mean that with the Geo-Filter disabled you're not getting the same error? The internet box do you mean just a simple box on the wall (ONT) or an ISP router provided by your ISP? You're using a switch for wired connections is that right? Just trying to understand the overall setup. Assuming you are getting the issue with the Geo-Filter enabled but not without, please provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter page when you see the error happen. Do you see anything blocked outside your radius when it happens? What firmware version are you on currently?
  21. Possibly, give the router a reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then try again please
