  1. Just connect its WAN/Internet port to a LAN port on the R3. Then you'd have to consult the manual of that device to see if anything further is necessary
  2. It's been out for a long time so it's generally stable. To prevent potential disconnects, In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.
  3. That's fair enough, if you wanted everything to go through the R3 then you could get an AP or a router to act as an AP to connect to the R3 to provide extra wifi range
  4. We don't do that kind of support. Are you using PPPoE/VLAN at all?
  5. We need the logs from when it happens, don't worry about it, just when it happens again grab them from that page if you can
  6. There have been some cloud updates so I would have thought so
  7. You can do that if you wish but QoS/SmartBOOST will not be very effective as it can't control the network. If you want it just for the Geo-Filter that will work.
  8. The latest is the beta here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/
  9. You'll need to factory reset I think to get it back. If you had the VPN enabled and then rebooted the router for example this can happen
  10. Yes that's correct, Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced
  11. Apologies, didn't see the message and was waiting for screenshots. Most of it really, these would be helpful please: Congestion Control Device Manager (Table View) Traffic Controller HybridVPN System Information WAN Setup LAN Setup Internet Setup Port Forwarding UPnP VLAN/Bridge
  12. The percentages vary person to person, network to network, I couldn't say specifically. You should enter the speeds you pay for/receive and then experiment with the percentages to see what works best
  13. Fine as in I don't think they'll need any more information for now. No specific way to check no. Not necessarily, with the servers not always responding to pings correctly it could just be incorrect, it could also be using relay servers which I've already asked the team about revealing (it might be they use ports for them that aren't covered) - if they are using relay servers then there isn't much we can do about it but there isn't a lot of evidence so far to suggest they are doing that
  14. Even then unless you're downloading gaming will always have plenty so you won't be getting bufferbloat. If you really want to improve the value you'll need to keep experimenting with the percentages
  15. Does the kinetic ont have WiFi that other deviceds are connected to? Congestion Control is in Ping Optimizer > Advanced How have you setup the Geo-Filter exactly?
  16. The modem model the XR is connected to not the model of the XR. By most of what does that mean, how many devices are still connected to your modem? Congestion Control & Geo-Filter aren't just on/off features, how have you set them up specifically? You should definitely set Traffic Prioritization to prioritize the console
  17. For now I think it'll be fine, they'll do some more cloud updates and we can see if that improves it at all, there isn't really any other explanation I can think of other than being incorrectly located/misclassified
  18. Are you saying you don't have any other devices connected on your network at all? If so then you don't really need to worry about the bufferbloat results, if you're not using the PC when playing you'll never saturate the connection for bufferbloat to occur
  19. There are no one size fits all settings, the best settings are the ones that you find works the best for you through trial and error. Though: What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization? What game are you playing? How is the PS5 connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  20. If you click the recovery options button on that page it should give you the option to get the logs, if you could do that please
  21. We don't have any involvement with the security updates so couldn't say how often they may arrive
  22. Did you factory reset after upgrading? If not please do so and then check again
