  2. I just wanted to see whether it improved or got worse prior to the latest update that did make specific changes to WiFi. For whatever reason it seems to be the max you can achieve with your setup/environment. Are you able to take the router somewhere else that has high speeds to see if you can get better speeds in a different environment?
  3. That would indicate an issue on the phone side, if a temporary solution worked doing something on the phone itself then that would only happen if the router wasn't restricting it

  5. It may be they're focusing more on console players re:VPNs, I would imagine so given the populations for the consoles probably dwarfs the PC players and so would have more of an impact. If you select a closer server for the VPN does it work?
  6. You don't need a VPN to force servers in different countries, you can use the Geo-Filter to do that. They're also actively taking steps to prevent people using VPNs so I can't see it working for too long. Please provide a screenshot of the VPN page when you've connected to it.
  7. The server is set already in the config you choose, if you want to change the VPN location select a new config file from your provider

  9. Yes that's the idea, not sure how much I can divulge at the moment so will er on the side of caution and say nothing! All looking good there. Thanks for that, I'll pass it on to the team to see if it needs to be rectified
  10. Using a VPN allows you to bypass Geo-restrictions e.g. use the UK netflix in the US etc. Some people think it helps when gaming to select a different country. It can also be used for security purposes. I wouldn't generally suggest using it when gaming.
  11. Thanks for the clarification! Try accessing using the DumaOS app instead of the interface when playing as that would use less router resources, do you then get the same rubberband issue? Ping Assist is a setting you change yourself, you can set that to 0. Game servers don't respond to traditional pings so it may not always be able to ping servers, that is normal. What device is disconnecting, how often, for how long etc
  12. Could you try downgrading the firmware version and try again please
  13. Copy the WAN IP from WAN Settings on the R3, access the BGW and find the DMZ/exposed host feature and enter that in then save. On the BGW then set the R3 to have the same IP via the static/reserved IP section, could be in LAN/DHCP settings. What Congestion Control settings did Ping Optimizer suggest? How did you set up SmartBOOST exactly? How wide is your Geo-Filter radius? Using Ping Assist, Geo-Latency etc?
  14. After factory resetting from the interface and waiting a few minutes what do you see the setup wizard when accessing?
  15. @mannrs can correct me if I'm wrong but this will be related to the issues mentioned recently that we've been investigating and monitoring. It's likely that issues were observed on your modem and so it was disabled to avoid interuption to your internet service and will be restored when testing a fix/once fixed

  20. I don't know if we've specifically tested the game, I don't believe we have but I'll pass it onto the team so see if they can add it
  21. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R2? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Where are you testing the speeds?
