  1. The disconnect I think is because your public IP is renewing itself, if you unplug your main modem for 10 minutes very late at night/at a time where if it disconnected it wouldn't affect you then it may prevent it happening for a little while longer, otherwise you may want to consider getting a static public IP from your ISP. Do the speeds/lag spikes occur after a disconnect usually?
  2. Give it a reset and then see if it continues please
  3. Okay so did you factory reset after upgrading to the latest version? Could be some remnants from the previous version causing issues
  4. Thanks for that, does it disconnect every 2.5 days approximately? Does the connection restore itself? If not how long are you waiting before rebooting to restore it?
  5. Great thank you, I'll pass them on!
  6. Maybe but the idea of the feature is to give you a consistent ping, one that doesn't fluctuate at all. Even though your ping doesn't fluctuate much, perhaps the combination of a slightly higher ping and a ping that is constant is making a big improvement
  7. It does yes, I assume that means you bought it second hand then! Could you grab the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting when you encounter a disconnect please?
  8. Definitely don't need to use expert then, if you get a better experience that way that's great!
  9. That's your ping to the Google server, it doesn't mean you'll get that ping to anything else. Without steady ping, in the average game check by how much your ping fluctuates - if your ping is fluctuating by less than 5ms then you're probably fine to leave it off. Higher than that then use simple. If it's higher than 10ms then I'd suggest using Expert.
  10. Still could be a server just misclassified as a peer. Other than what I mentioned to check between them no not really. You can't know it will be a good game until you connect to it and ping it
  11. Are you primarily using the app? If so that doesn't necessarily mean you're on DumaOS 4 and it's unlikely that you are. I have given you Early Access though so you can try the firmware to see if it works better for you. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  12. Okay thanks, would appreciate if you could keep us posted with your stability
  13. Could you disable the uTP option on the torrent client and see if the same behavior continues please? It may also be beneficial to set a download limit on the torrent client.
  14. Not that I am aware of no. A P2P game will show with a peer icon on the map, however this can be misclassified and actually be a server. If you look on the ping window on the Geo-Filter when playing, if it's just a basic IP address then it could be a player, if it's more of a longer address then most likely a server. However, I am fairly certain it's primarily a dedicated server game so I don't think you do have P2P matches.
  15. I'm not sure if we've specifically tested the game or not yet but as above if you disable the Geo-Filter does it work? Then as mentioned it would be an easy fix
  16. Have you had it occur since downgrading? Did you have it with merged bands on .540?
  17. Do you see the same on http://192.168.77.1 and http://dumaos ?
  18. We suspect they're using relay servers which makes it difficult - essentially connecting you to a server you can connect to in order to then connect you to a server that would normally be outside your radius and so that means we can't block it. The main issue with this currently is that we don't even see these relay servers on the Geo-Filter, this is something I've spoken with the team about to see if we can widen the net of what the Geo-Filter shows. If we can then see the relay servers then they could then in theory be blocked to prevent the issue happening. So yes potentially but it's not necessarily a simple thing to counteract (what I've said could be correct in which case it could be simple but could be more complex)
  19. Not really, it would be the same situation on that version as well
  20. Don't use the inbuilt test, just speedtest.net. Can you provide a screenshot of the overall QoS page please?
