Experiencing major packet loss and lag
Netduma Fraser replied to ExcellentZERO's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I would say that could well be linked to the issue you're experiencing currently, if their own router is unable to connect to the internet then there may be some weird instability that needs to be resolved first. It could also be they're expecting to see the ISP router on the network but aren't, in some cases setting the router to use the ISP router MAC address may help. What do you mean unknown tests? That'll be some traffic we either haven't classified or traffic where the classification has become out of date. -
Descobriram uma forma no Call of Duty?

It's not required if you already have an Open NAT but you can do if you want to see if it plays better. Ahh good to hear! -

I'll let others comment of course but one of the reasons you don't see too many setup posts etc is because there are so many variables when it comes to networking that a configuration that works well for one person may work terribly for another. I'd always suggest experimenting yourself to see what works best, as long as you don't expect 100% of your games to be perfect then you'll find settings that work well for you. -
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How is the console connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How did you disable the Geo-Filter exactly, by what you've said disabling this made no difference? Have you changed anything in the router settings pages specifically?

Geo Fench not working for ps5 on warzone
Netduma Fraser replied to Darrenf111's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Your screenshot looks like it is working, there is an allowed icon within your radius so it's not actively blocking you, the game just doesn't want to place you in a game there for some reason. If you can't get servers in your own area either then there may be servers that need to be allowed - like the one in Ireland. Do you get a game easily in your area with the Geo-Filter disabled? -

Disable Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings but also that is an authentication server required for online play - you can't play without it -

Are you able to force specific servers in the EU with the Geo-Filter without any issues? -

It's purpose isn't to force servers much further away and the game may not want to put you on them if it means your ping will be much higher. To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place. -
Experiencing major packet loss and lag

Did you put the R3 in its DMZ and set that IP as static on the modem? Also ensuring ALL devices are connected to the R3? -
I think there are only 1 or 2 servers near you for that game - what is the ping you're getting? If it's not too high then it's likely you're already on one of the closest servers, in which case it's unlikely the Geo-Filter would be able to do anything further - the game also does like to use relay servers which the Geo-Filter can't always counteract. Do you experience these issues if there are no other devices in your home using the internet? If you do then it's unlikely the R3 will help.

Perhaps uninstalling, logging out of the Google account, logging in and reinstalling may help

You can keep it enabled that's fine

What do you want supported in DumaOS?
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Liam's topic in Community Discussion
Yes you should be able to -
If you've disabled the DMZ on your ISP router then it's unlikely you'll get an Open NAT through the R3. I'd suggest re-enabling that and then you don't need to change anything else.

Our Android phones don't like the R1.
Netduma Fraser replied to Chuppy's topic in Netduma R1 Support
Very good solution, thanks for sharing it! -
If your ping fluctuates which is normal for it to do so then steady ping will give you a ping that it will keep the game at so you won't have any inconsistencies due to that variation of ping. It's not full proof, it doesn't always work as you're not always able to ping the game etc
