  1. "Thank you for the response, unfortunately it never connects to Milan in Italy, the server pings have increased even though they are in the same conditions and locations.. strange from 25 to 45, but still quite stable at the moment." Italy seems to be one of those servers that don't always seem to be available - it's been the same for the last few games. I suspect they only become active during heavy populated periods such as peak time or during the weekend for example. Though with this CoD being one that has made them less money than previous iterations it may not get to that level. The ping increase could be due to the servers with time of year but how have you got Congestion Control and SmartBOOST set?
  2. Of course, added!
  3. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  4. Re-add it then launch the game and watch the map (fully zoomed out), there will be a blocked icon when it tries to connect, click it then add it to your allow list. You may need to do the process a couple of times to get all the servers but then it'll be fine. If you could provide the IDs of the servers we can get them added to the whitelist.
  5. Does it happen still with the Geo-Filter disabled? If so, does it happen while directly connected to your modem?
  6. It may not always be available to connect to, try during peak times/at the weekend as it'll be more likely to be available then. I don't think there is a swiss server, I don't think they've ever had one in that location, if they do I've never seen anyone connect to it
  7. Good to hear, do keep us posted, they can add/remove servers frequently so the sooner we know they've done that the sooner we can resolve
  8. Check the zoomed out map specifically when it tries to get past the loading screen, it may only appear briefly. If you can't catch it, include it in your area then when it appears add it to the allow list. It's almost certainly going to be a server in Ireland or West Coast USA. Once it shows a server even if it can't ping you can see the ID, do the cover method if you can't get to that part before it disappears.
  9. It may well have changed, zoom out fully on the map, do you see anything blocked? If so add it to your allow list, it may take a few tries to get all the servers it may use. If you could then provide the IDs for them that would really help. Otherwise, have you added any servers to your deny list recently/prior to it happening?
  10. Good to hear, thanks for the update, glad you're having a good time!
  11. No there won't be any conflicts if you re-enable it
  12. The R3 WAN IP yes - the one shown on the R3 WAN Settings page / the one shown for the device on the Tim hub devices page
  13. You didn't need to disable DHCP on the Tim but now that you have done so set the R3 IP as static/reserved on the Tim and other than that it's correct!
  14. Reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then check, you should have internet then
  15. If your setup is Tim Hub > R3 the R3 does not need PPPoE/VLAN because the Tim Hub is handling it. In this case you would put the R3 in the Tim Hub DMZ. If your setup is ONT/Wall > R3 then the R3 needs PPPoE. In this case the Tim hub is irrelevant as you aren't using it.
  16. You don't need to disable anything specifically but I would suggest you put the R3 in its DMZ/exposed host function
  17. It has no benefits for gaming, it's simply a way to connect which you do not need, if you needed it you would have a connection with it set. Focus on Congestion Control to eliminate bufferbloat.
  18. If you're entering VLAN and you don't get internet then you don't need VLAN for a connection. I'm not sure what you mean about a public IP being bad for gaming but that's not correct.
  19. Okay so you don't need VLAN then. You'll need to adjust Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced) to find the best percentages to reduce your bufferbloat
  20. Add that UK server to your allow list, you may need to do it a couple of times and it should be more consistent then until a cloud update can be done - there was an issue preventing them pushing the cloud which they're trying to resolve currently so it is a bit delayed
  21. Put the details in, reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and see if you have a connection?
  22. It's possible but not with those specific instructions, you'd have to create a hotspot off the PC or use a hub so the traffic flows through the PC so Wireshark could pick it up but I get that isn't very practical. The easiest workaround is to just prioritize devices instead of the gaming option. You'll get the same benefits without it incorrectly prioritizing the BTC Miner
  23. Don't cover Germany and enable crossplay and you're likely to connect to Italy more often - it is one of those servers though that don't always appear to be active
  24. The one in Dublin isn't a game server, it's required for authentication so you'll almost always see a connection to this server. You'll therefore see another server on the map which will be your game server. Disable Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings though and restart the game device and see if you get games more visibly within your radius.
