You need to select the device/game. If you're on console it applies to the whole console so you don't need to select the specific game. If you're on PC you can change the device type to a console in the Device Manager and then add it as a console and get the same benefits. So at the very least you do need to add a device and you can add up to 4.

Great to hear you solved it, thanks for the update and solution!

The firmware for the XR1000 is .chk so you're fine to upgrade. I don't think you'll have the issue in AP mode but go back to router mode, In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.

Are you able to get an Open NAT connecting directly to the modem?
-
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.

CALL OFDUTY BLACK OPS 6- UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HOST
Netduma Fraser replied to Satiros's topic in Netduma R2 Support
What issue exactly unable to connect to the game? Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter page showing what you see when this happens please? -
Set up the G3100 so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Also try the latest firmware: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/58012-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40540/

Change the IPv6 DNS manually to the ones your ISP uses, save, reboot your Huawei, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then check again please.
-
Could you try changing the SSID of the WiFi and then try WPS please and see if it works?
-
Okay disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes then try again please
-
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode What firmware version are you on currently?

We post in Early Access fairly regularly, public updates will be the slowest as we only want the most stable versions to be public. I've added you to Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Yes that's correct, ahh that's great to hear, no worries at all! -
You have to have filtering on otherwise it's not doing anything

You need to set Ping Assist to 0, reboot the gaming device and try again
-
No worries, it's probably a simple fix!
-
I've given you access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ I doubt the firmware itself will fix the issue, can you provide a screenshot of the full Geo-Filter page showing what you see when this happens please?

Is that the public version you're on or the beta? If you're not on the beta then please upgrade to that: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ If it doesn't work could you record a video showing what you see please?
