  1. Good advice above, the IP for it is likely 10.0.0.1
  2. Do you notice anything blocked on the Geo-Filter when that happens? Would be best to make your own topic also It could be your router LAN IP address that you've changed, could you revert this to the default and see if it works more consistently please?
  3. Appreciate that thanks! I don't think it's causing much impact on the available router resources. I'll come back to you or a dev may comment directly
  4. What firmware version are you on currently? Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface
  5. It could well be the game server, have you noticed the issue again?
  6. No only the XR500 is exposed to the internet which is what we want, the XR500 has a firewall so it's just literally like if you were to swap the fritz for the XR
  7. Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.
  8. If you reboot the console before playing does it then show offline? Yes, it will help ensure you have an Open NAT as well as prevent the ISP modem from influencing the connection that the XR is trying to control

  10. Try via ethernet if you can, if not reboot the router and try again please
  11. The modem should have a sticker on the underside for the model. Congestion Control is the main one you should have on, Bandwidth Allocation reset it back to the defaults. How did you add the priority exactly, what service? If you check the router for the ping use the Geo-Filter not heatmap. Put Ping Assist to 0 and try again with close servers. There is a newer version you should upgrade to for security purposes https://kb.netgear.com/000066233/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-74
  12. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Where are you checking the ping, in game or on the Geo-Filter? What firmware version are you on? Do you have an Open NAT?
  13. Put the XR WAN IP in the DMZ on your main router. Are you leaving the PS5 in an instant on/standby state the majority of the time? When it shows as offline, if you reboot the console does it then appear online correctly?
  14. Not entirely clear in the logs unfortunately what happened but I can pass them on. Your bufferbloat issues could well have been due to your port issues so now they're better, do you still get those same results? Also the dev made the changes within the last couple of hours and made it so they should persist with a reboot so keep us updated on how you get on with that.
  15. Doesn't make much sense, you mentioned the DMZ on the fritz, are you referring to the exposed host option on it?
  16. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better/shows the servers more.
  17. Those are lots of good questions that haven't been asked before and therefore I don't have adequate information for you, other than to say it's not very invasive at all. I will ask someone and get back to you.
  18. We generally try to aim for around the same price point each time and have enough leeway to provide a significant initial discount to those who are wanting to upgrade from the previous gen. While I understand your point about RGB for example, it's not that much extra compared to the jump to WiFi 7 from WiFi 6. At the time when making the decision this was still fairly new, not widely adopted and quite expensive. This would have put the router out of the price bracket most of our customers are accustomed to and at the time not something that was a necessity. The RAM is enough for the router/software and this isn't really a limiting factor. We could of course put more in just for the sake of it but it's not necessarily something you'd see a huge benefit from like you would with a PC. Each aspect is thought about a lot, in terms of what the software requires, the cost, the cost vs benefit etc. All I was saying really is we're unlikely to be the ones that bring out the bleeding edge in router hardware as soon as it is available e.g. one of the first WiFi 8 routers etc. It's not to say that each iteration wouldn't be better hardware wise than the last because it would be. This could all change as well, just because it's what we have done doesn't necessarily mean it'll always follow that formula.
  19. You can still use the R3 wifi, no need for an AP
  20. Okay disable DHCP server on the router then reboot the router from the interface and check if it happens again please
  21. Not sure what you mean exactly but as long as SmartBOOST is enabled that's the only thing that needs to be done to run Ping Optimizer
  22. No you don't need to do anything with the DMZ option on the XR. Let us know how you get on with the bridge mode
  23. The R3 doesn't have bridge mode and you wouldn't use it in this scenario. If you put the WAN IP of the R3 in the DMZ on the main router that'll prevent a double NAT
