Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hey, welcome to the forum! Thanks for the heads up, we'll get that updated! -
Since it's not specifically mentioned in the change log it's unlikely, but I'll check. Have you tried it? If you change some of the advanced options for auto setup do you get different results? It can also vary depending on the time of day.

Regarding the WiFi LED, this has never worked since we first started selling so no worries about that! Thanks for the heads up regarding the login details, I'll make a ticket. How many tests is it completing and what are your bandwidth speeds?
-
Are you using the details you set or the default admin / password ?
-
Did you do a factory reset after the upgrade?
-
Comme il n'est pas spécifiquement mentionné dans le journal des modifications, c'est peu probable, mais je vais vérifier. L'as tu essayé?

Thanks for letting us know, do you happen to have the IP or ID of the server? Don't worry if you don't. -

Could you give the devices reserved IPs in LAN Settings on the router please, then on the devices forget the WiFi network, then reconnect and see if they're better then? -

I think they have this option as well actually so do this please, go to WiFi settings then tap the gear icon next to the XR Wi-Fi name, go to MAC address type, select Use phone MAC, then turn OFF your device's Wi-Fi and then ON again and see if they're able to connect properly and that the disconnects stop. -

What are the devices you're seeing this happen with, are the Apple devices or Windows 10 devices by any chance? -

I would recommend so, make sure to do a factory reset after it has completed. We're improving upon that, let us know how it is! -

What Ping Assist value did you set as it seems to be blocking every server -

If you post that in the form we can get that moved. That's interesting, instead use Ping Assist with your location in the ocean and see if you can force that server. Turn off the game/console fully, make the Geo changes, wait 2 minutes then boot up and see if you can force it. -

I would recommend the beta .120 version personally as I feel that's the most stable so far -

Call of Duty-PC Not Supported?
Netduma Fraser replied to LyleMarton's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hey, welcome to the forum! I would suggest removing the device from the Geo-Filter. Then in the Device Manager giving your PC the PlayStation device type, then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and select the manual option instead, that will allow you to filter the game on PC. We're aware of that bug and will fix it. I prefer the above method though as services like Call of Duty on the Geo-Filter can be get outdated but the above will also work. -
If it works with the games console service, the original rule I gave you and DumaOS Classified Games then there will be a port missing when making rules manually. Do you have multiple devices trying to play at the same time?
-
Are you actually in a game playing when those screenshots are taken?
-
Could you double check the IP on your PC matches the IP on the Device Manager of the device you think it is please? As above
-
Are you playing over WiFi? If you're not then choose normal for the rules instead. Delete the 27000 range rules and just replace it with one: Source 1-65535 Destination 27000-27050 TCP/UDP
-
For specific ports I would suggest making rules for the ports the game requires as per the screenshot on the previous page, anything other than that is for you to experiment with. If it prioritizes with those rules then that's good, it's not just for console.
-
What does: Source 1-65535 Destination 1024-65535 Protocol TCP/UDP do?

Is that the only reason you think it is the worst firmware so far? We've said previously the Ping Under Load needs to be improved - it doesn't mean you will necessarily get those spikes. You also need to adjust QoS to get a better result on that test. Also as we use the Google servers for the ping tests if you have a bad connection to them then it will be reflected there.
