- Disable Filtering Mode on the Geo-Filter but watch what happens and where it places you to get the lowest ping servers you observed. Once you have identified this, then enable Filtering Mode and place your radius/polygon over that area and see if the ping stays the same and whether you can get it consistently.

Good thought but then if QoS was fully disabled on DumaOS that would make it work but it doesn't seem to so may not be as simple unfortunately

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
How often is that happening while you're staying on the page? Which router? There are no settings around the interface login -
-
-
@Private Greenie have you put any devices in the DMZ or anything like that at all? Have you disabled any of the protection options in WAN Settings? I think the Geo-Filter entries/settings are fine, of course you'll need to enable Filtering Mode there.
-
- Put a polygon on the area with those two low ping servers, Ping Assist at 0. The in game ping will always be higher as it includes processing delay, if it is very high then indicates you should maybe try another server. I would suggest you lower Congestion Control to 70% for both download and upload, set it to 'Always'. Have you put the R2 in the Ubee DMZ? Are devices still connected to the Ubee?

Respondí a tu tema ayer, así que continuemos ahí. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/35932-en-méxico-no-funciona/?tab=comments#comment-302151

Virgin Media Security Alert – Multicast DNS Vulnerability
Netduma Fraser replied to Exe_uz's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Have you done any manual port forwarding on the R2? As mentioned I have VM and the R2 plugged directly in to it and I've not had this before. You may not have even port forwarded but it may be UPnP has opened the port to the affected device. Do you see the port listed in UPnP? -
@kssxs Thanks for the info, I'll let the team know. @Nuyorrican Thank you, I'll get the team to try and reproduce this. Regarding the logs, I doubt they will be causing you any issues, the first is in reference to IPv6 by the looks of it which you don't have.
-
Ah I see. The R1 will not be able to reach those speeds, if with QoS off that's what you get then that will likely be the maximum you can achieve. Just to double check disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN and disable the protection options in WAN Settings
-
We are working on it and I've asked for a status update on this. As we no longer sell the R1 we wouldn't be able to take it back.
-
Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!

@Maiko Cella that's great to hear, thanks so much for your feedback! -
-
What speeds did you have previously? Have they always been around this speed?
-
I haven't heard anything yet but I've chased the team and will get back to you as soon as I can
-
What is the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Is this via ethernet and with QoS disabled in the Congestion Control 3 line option menu?
-
The speed part of Connection Benchmark is still being improved - it doesn't mean those are the speeds you are getting, what do you get to speedtest.net?
-
Thanks, I've asked the team for a status update on party chat. Were you able to repeat the 2nd test multiple times and get the same results?
-
Devices on standby/asleep can run background updates so I would still suggest adhering to that and setting up everything as though devices were being used and you'll get a good experience.
