  1. Hey, welcome to the forum! All pre-orders are due to be sent by the end of next week so it won't be too much longer.
  2. That's great to hear, thanks for sharing the solution for you. We're investigating the issue at hand so I'm confident we'll get it resolved.
  3. It might be the power cut briefly causing a reset, I''d see if you can get a replacement, either with the retailer you purchased from or by making a ticket with Netgear here: http://support.netgear.com/
  4. I think we've gone through everything unfortunately yeah. We can do a replacement though and then that should work if you'd like to try that. Either way you'll need to email [email protected] with your order number, if you want the replacement then link this topic and they'll sort that out for you.
  5. Thanks for that, can you go ahead and re-upgrade to the same firmware please and then factory reset for a fresh install and see if it still happens after that? It may not have flashed correctly prior to shipping. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/34950-new-r2-firmware-30205/
  6. Thanks for the report, I've compiled a list of all the heatmap games that need to be updated and have passed it over to the team to update.
  7. When set to never it does override the slider value to essentially be off so for example: 100/100Mbps 50% set to Always = ~50Mbps 50% set to Never = ~100Mbps
  8. Thanks for that, what was the IP you gave the R2? On the System Information page does it show the same IP that you set?
  9. Thanks for the information, on the actiontec would you be able to set a static IP for the R2 to see if it can sustain a connection? Might be to do with the actiontec DHCP release renewing.
  10. Some devices do not like Smart Connect and are not able to seamlessly transition bands based on Bandwidth as the router does without connecting manually to a band. I would suggest making a guest WiFi for such devices and then using Smart Connect for the main WiFi so you get the best of both worlds.
  11. Is that in router mode or have you put it in modem mode? Regardless of the way you have put it can you try the other method please and see if that works? It is a support forum so you will mainly see people with issues here, it does not represent the entirety of our customer base and is within normal levels for a consumer based product. We are working on it, it's a tough issue to pin down but it's a high focus for us. Is that all devices or wired/wireless specifically?
  12. Could you contact Mullvad and ask them for a configuration file that will work with OpenVPN 2.3.4 please?
  13. In that case I wouldn't worry about the benchmark results you're seeing - it is using the Google server which can be hit or miss sometimes
  14. Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. What is your exact physical setup, i.e. are you using a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?
  15. Relatively close yes. You do have some inherent spikes in the base connection but under load it is higher. What percentage are you using currently? Try something really low just to see whether it adjusts more favorably.
  16. Sorry to hear you're having this issue, have you tried the suggestions mentioned so far?
  17. What have you set your Download CC slider to? Does it change depending on the percentage used?
  18. 19. Is this the configuration that they provided you? You'll definitely need to remove all but one of the servers. The username/password should be your VPN login information, otherwise they should specifically say what to use. Did you have <ca> before begin certificate and </ca> after end certificate? If not then you will need that added.
  20. Here is the link to the .114 beta version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mwe5sx81gsc129/XR500-V2.3.2.114-DumaOS3.0.203.img?dl=0 Hard to say, we'll be releasing a new beta version soon so it depends how well that does as to when we would release it as a stable build.
  21. Ah I see, that means you're on DumaOS 2.0 instead of 3.0, was that intended? Not sure I follow, to move location click the home pin icon then click on the map and adjust the radius using the slider.
  22. Hey, welcome to the forum! You will receive a router yes but after all the orders before yours have been fulfilled so it could take a few weeks - that's a rough estimate.
  23. While not officially released that firmware had been fully tested and was linked by the XR500 lead. We do not have a finished developed firmware to provide you with. Features that make it on to the router is up to Netgear. I couldn't give an estimate at the moment. I've not heard of that issue at all, did you factory reset after upgrading? What happens when you try to make the circle bigger?
  24. Hi P4UL, just to make you aware, the update is a trial update done just to see whether it fixes that NAT issues with multiple consoles - reports so far show it does for most users. However, it is still a trial and therefore it has not been tested and reports have shown it's quite buggy. Would you still like to receive the firmware? If not, make a new topic and we'll be happy to help with the QpS issue you're having.
