ANNOUNCEMENT: The Netduma R2 is here
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Admin's topic in News & Announcements
It's a cloud update so will apply to all DumaOS/Game Optimizer modem/routers. -
I've tasked the team with testing this and they'll push a cloud update if needed to fix it
-
We are always happy to provide support, if you make a topic with the issues you are facing then we can help.
-
Traffic Prio prioritizes the game by default but we allow people to experiment with ports to see if they can find anything they prefer

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Netduma R2 is here
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Admin's topic in News & Announcements
Thanks for the kind words. The router intention is not to help you get into a game solo or force connections to your friends so you're on opposite teams - the intention has always been to get you the best games possible. The game devs changed their matchmaking system so that you're unable to do this anymore, not us. I think the fact we're looking into the possibility of a workaround to allow an unintentional way of connecting to the game shows we care about our customers. We are going to re-classify Destiny and push a cloud update so you can at the very least filter via servers properly - if there is anything more we can do then we will but it may not be possible. I understand you're frustrated but I feel your anger is misplaced. We'll keep people posted. -
@Private Greenie I think we should try and lock down the router/exclude it from the main setup and see whether you notice any changes in the logs. What is the ISP modem/router model? Do you have a spare router to put between the modem and R1? If possible connect all devices other than one PC to monitor the R1 to something else and see what occurs with the logs

No just to disable the WAN options on the R2 in Settings > WAN

Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!

On the iPhone can you disable the private addresses function on the WiFi connection to the R2 and see if this makes a difference please? Great to hear! -
Okay in that case that does seem to be the speed you are capped to using the R2 unfortunately. Try disabling all the WAN options and see if it makes a difference, if not there won't be anything else we can change to improve it.
-
As a test, please make a rule on Traffic Prioritization for the test PC: Source 1-65535 Destination 1-65535 Protocol TCP/UDP and then do speedtest.net via ethernet, what do you get?
-
I've chased the dev on this. Thanks for the info, did you have this on the previous beta version at all? Has anything else in your network changed? We're still looking into that unfortunately.

Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You don't need to add it but if you cover the server with your Geo-Filter radius then it should allow you to force the server -

Set the IP statically in the R2 WAN Settings as well please and also change the DHCP hours in DHCP settings to 168. Reboot the router from the interface once you've applied both. Settings for static will be: IP 10.0.0.106 Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway/router 10.0.0.1

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback! You can disable Ads by unticking the checkbox next to it in the lists panel. Is it paused on your PC but not the phone? What happens when you try to set automatic width? -
How did you set the static IP address exactly, did you use the WAN IP from the System Information page?
-
I can see you're using IPv6 now, if you disable this do you see the same issue?

Je suis vraiment désolé pour ça. J'ai poussé encore plus et j'essaierai à nouveau si je n'obtiens pas de réponse lundi -
That's certainly an option but you could have the same issue on a previous version. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Are you able to set a static/reserved address for the R2 on the modem? In theory this should help to resolve the issue.

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
It's possible that they are mislocated, or as they're different games it could just be that's the lowest you can get to those particular servers. For example I live quite close to London but my ping to the UK server is about 20ms for MW. If you put the IPs in the form as mislocated we can double check and move them if needed. -

@Killerelite06 thank you for the feedback, to answer some of your points: Thanks for letting me know, I will raise a request to have PPPoE as an option for the setup wizard. Could you let me know the WiFi password you were trying to use or the format of the password e.g. letters, numbers, symbols etc. I think SA only has 2 servers so that could be why, I imagine that the whole of Africa for the most part are forced onto those servers so they may be under load. We'll be doing a Ping Heatmap update next week and then the servers should reappear there DSLReports doesn't play nice with Traffic Prioritization which is why the results can be off, if CB says you're good then that's great! You should be able to do that if you enter it as a domain. Interesting, what do you get if you select a custom channel? Glad to hear it! I believe on the NG routers UPnP works but doesn't always show them as entries -
Creo que puede que le falte un servidor de autenticación, debería haber un ícono de reproductor en el este de los EE. UU. Que aparece; intente permitir esto cuando lo vea y luego vea si funciona mejor
