Optimal DumaOS Settings
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Admin's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Very strange but glad to hear it's working again, do let us know if it happens again! -
Thanks for that, could you force another server and provide an Auto Ping screenshot of that game and tell me what your experience is like in that match please? Then I can compare the two as for now, that looks fine.
-
It's very hard for us to comment on and to try to improve an in game experience when the stats are fine. What is the Geo-Filter ping and what is the in game ping? Depending on how much they differ it might shed light on the situation.

Ahh, it could be because you're using the mobile browser to do so, use the DumaOS app, does it save the settings correctly then? -

That's a strange one, I haven't seen that before, could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? Are you using Armor by any chance? -

What router and firmware version are you on? It's become a much less frequent issue and don't see it reported much now -
So it's a work in progress at the moment, requires a bit more investigation but I'm checking up every day so as soon as I know more I'll let you know
-
As in, it's showing traffic for the console when it's unplugged or it's not showing any traffic when it is unplugged?
-
If you just go on the Network Monitor page you'll see on the top panel that devices will be listed on the left if they're being used and the bar chart will be updating.
-
I will ask the team tomorrow where they're at with this once they're back in the office
-
You're seeing traffic on Network Monitor? If so are you 100% sure that is the correct device - it's strange the PS5 is called another company
-
The IPs both match? If so then it can't possibly be prioritizing any traffic for that device so you can ignore it but you can double check if any traffic is detected for it in the Network Monitor
-
Double check the device manager for the Samsung device and double check the IP and see if it is the same on the console network settings
-
Are packets actually continuing to tick up? It may stay on briefly but the packets shouldn't change much.

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Thanks for these so I can confirm these all appear to be normal servers, I'll pass it onto the team to get them correctly classified. -
Ahh brilliant to hear you got it sorted, thanks for providing the solution as well!

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
I would think it's more likely to be a mislocated server as everyone connects through the server to you rather than direct to you. If you provide a couple of IDs like that we can double check. -
Okay thank you, I have passed it over to the team to take a look, with your additional information I'm sure they'll be able to get it this time around
-
So the latest version only passed at 80% so still a little bit to fix and then we should be away, there is a ticket for the PPPoE/QoS upload issue but I can't see if it's been fixed in this version or not.
-
I'm checking in for you and will let you know.
-
Could you do a factory reset now please and then see if the same issues occur and see what firmware you're on please
