The port forwarding rule to the .221 IP is good, I think it's best to unplug the router LAN to the R2 LAN, I don't think that will be helping matters at all. The R2 needs to give the PS an IP address. All you need to do is connect the R2 to the router - R2 WAN to router LAN, forward those ports to the R2, leave every setting as the default on the R2 so the R2 controls the PS completely, then with another device setup the Geo-Filter and it will work.

If you just go on the Network Monitor page you'll see on the top panel that devices will be listed on the left if they're being used and the bar chart will be updating.

I know it may seem like a silly question but I just had someone who had issues due to it being incorrectly plugged in, also the fact the device isn't showing on LAN on the Device Manager is an indicator as well so just had to check! What is the IP the PC is getting and what is an IP for one of the wireless devices?

@leeeroybiscuitI do understand what you're saying and certainly looking around the forum it does give the impression that the firmware has issues but it is a support forum so that is the only content you'll see and it does represent a small percentage of the owners of the routers. Did you disable DHCP as well to see if that resolved it? It is quite plug and play but even with products like that people will have issues - if they didn't I wouldn't have a job!

I will ask the team tomorrow where they're at with this once they're back in the office

You're seeing traffic on Network Monitor? If so are you 100% sure that is the correct device - it's strange the PS5 is called another company
-
The IPs both match? If so then it can't possibly be prioritizing any traffic for that device so you can ignore it but you can double check if any traffic is detected for it in the Network Monitor
-
Double check the device manager for the Samsung device and double check the IP and see if it is the same on the console network settings
-
Great to hear that! You can set it to Auto-Enable now so it only applies when you're actually gaming, so you get full speeds the rest of the time. Every connection is different and so will require different percentages. Bufferbloat only occurs when your connection is saturated and at your speeds that doesn't happen often.

Yes, the XR can only control devices that are directly connected to it

You can but it's not very efficient overall. If you use the VPN on the Asus then you would have to apply it to the XR1000 as a whole which would in turn then VPN the console and any other devices connected to the XR. There isn't much you need to do though, you have it connected correctly so apply the various settings on each router as you wish.

Are packets actually continuing to tick up? It may stay on briefly but the packets shouldn't change much.

It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

New NetdumaR2 / Incorrect WIFI Password
Netduma Fraser replied to Bund1984's topic in Netduma R2 Support
If you can connect via ethernet then you can complete the setup wizard and then change it as above, otherwise this guide may help: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000117883-i-ve-received-my-new-netduma-r2-but-the-wifi-password-doesn-t-work -
Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Thanks for these so I can confirm these all appear to be normal servers, I'll pass it onto the team to get them correctly classified. -
Forcing Amercian lobbies
Netduma Fraser replied to Bluegixer1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Great to hear that! Yes forcing servers much further away from you will increase your latency significantly. -
You do have access to the Early Access sub forum so I'd recommend trying one of those versions and see whether that improves it for you: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
