R2 consistently loses connection
Netduma Fraser replied to FazeChungus's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Did you have access to the router when the disconnect happened? If so if you can grab the log from the Sys Info page when it happens that may give us some ideas. Some people who are having the issue have changed the DHCP lease time to 10 minutes, while this seems counter intuitive it seems to have worked for them. It is something we're looking into overall though. -

Keep us posted! It is something we have let them know multiple times, there is not much else we can do from our end so hopefully! -

Use that link above to go intermediary then go to the firmware I linked at the bottom of the first post, then when you know that works go to the latest -

A factory reset should resolve it, it would be a good idea anyway as it's a few iterations ahead of the firmware you were on -
We need to update the basic configs so for the moment you'll need to use the manual configs

You may need to clear your browser cache/cookies, did you do the intermediary firmware first? -

You could upgrade it directly, no need to TFTP -
The log, was that when you had no internet but access to the interface? If it's working correctly at the time there won't be anything useful in the log - it wipes on reboot. Sign up for Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ and when approved try upgrading to that firmware and see if it's more stable for you.

You can use HybridVPN on the 500 yes, it's entirely up to you which you want to use. You won't get full speeds when applying the VPN to the whole device, if you use the Hybrid aspects to just apply it to the specific service/application/ports you want then the rest of the device can use the normal connection at full speed. I think that option is enabled by default yes -
Great to hear that worked!

xr700 long loading
Netduma Fraser replied to artful40's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Clear your browser cache/cookies then reload it and see if it works better then - it might be slow on the first reload but should be faster after that -
There is this feature on iOS/Android/Windows devices connected by WiFi called Private Address/Random Hardware Addresses, I suspect that is the problem, here is how to disable it: iOS: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT211227 Android: https://www.howtogeek.com/722653/how-to-disable-random-wi-fi-mac-address-on-android/ Windows: https://support.plume.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360052828233-How-do-I-disable-random-MAC-addresses-on-Windows- Once you've disabled it on the affected devices themselves, reboot the router, wait 2 minutes then access and devices should appear/respond correctly.

Thanks for letting us know, it's one for Netgear to resolve so I'll pass it on to them. -
Très bien, utilisez-le pour l'instant, en attendant, je vais demander à l'équipe la possibilité de mettre à jour vers une version plus récente d'OpenVPN

No I don't believe so, in that case use Games Console instead. You shouldn't need to add it then, try it without for the moment and see if you encounter any issues. -

I just pinged your public IP and I did not get any response so I think it has worked! -

Pourriez-vous demander à CyberGhost s'ils ont des configurations OpenVPN qui fonctionnent spécifiquement avec OpenVPN version 2.3.4 ?

For a PC you can leave DumaOS Classified Games enabled, depending on what you're playing it may be prioritized automatically, otherwise you can add it with the Games Console service, likewise for the streaming PC. -

What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how is that setup? -
Ping Test(Under Load)
Netduma Fraser replied to Kyle's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Auto Enable will apply depending on your Traffic Prioritization settings so as long as you have that setup in a way that will prioritize when you're gaming on your respective platform it will apply every time. -
No worries at all, I'm just glad we were able to get to the bottom of it without you having to do a factory reset!
