  1. Ah, that's unlikely to be responsible for the change then
  2. Ahh I see, it's very hard for me to say as both hubs will have very different settings, best thing would be to try to replicate the settings from the Fritz onto the Tim
  3. By Tim Hub Plus & Technicolor do you mean you're using two routers?
  4. Same issue on the R2 and we're looking into it. It's entirely up to you, a new firmware isn't far away.
  5. Great let us know! I'm not sure about that actually, I'll have to ask the team about it and get back to you.
  6. Thinking about it actually you could do the following: Disable Allow Ping in WAN Settings Use Traffic Controller to block the ports for ALL devices That could potentially work, give it a try and let us know!
  8. The best test now would be to unplug the router and connect your PC directly to the ONT and see whether you have the same experience, if you do then it's most likely on the ONT/ISP side or potentially on the PC side.
  9. Netgear won't have pushed the update to their server for some reason, usually they do this if they want to monitor how well a firmware is received to prevent major issues across all customers. Great to hear that, thanks for the update.
  10. Hello, welcome to the forum! You can ignore the Connection Benchmark speed test, that doesn't show full speeds for a lot of people so you can go off speedtest.net instead. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to? Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Have you put the XR in the modem/router DMZ?
  11. Hey, welcome to the forum! Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? If you're not using QoS you'll need to and if you are then it may need some refinement.
  12. If the device you're playing on is connected through the AP then possibly yes but it won't negatively affect you at all.
  13. We can't influence which players connect to the servers but as long as you have a good connection to the server you'll have the best experience possible. The pings won't always match, it won't make a difference, you'll take the same route to the game server
  14. Unless you have severely throttled yourself the game will just be getting what it needs - gaming uses very little bandwidth and won't use anywhere near 3000 for example so there shouldn't be any difference in game quality at all
  15. ¿Dejaste la consola encendida toda la noche en un modo de encendido/espera instantáneo?
  16. It's hard to say, on Connection Benchmark what is the result your getting on the Ping Test the one before Ping Under Load. 19ms is very good, what is the average ping in game? If that is a lot higher, over 30ms higher than the Geo-Filter ping then that would be a server side issue and you'd benefit from forcing different servers to find ones that have a lower in game ping even if the ping on the Geo-Filter is slightly higher.
  17. Solo para aclarar, dijiste que estabas jugando con un amigo en los EE. UU. Anteriormente, cuando dejaste de jugar con ellos, ¿seguiste jugando sin reiniciar el juego o la consola?
  18. Has that resolved it or was it already in modem mode?
  20. I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634 then try please
  21. It really doesn't make any sense, do you have static/reserved IPs set on the devices themselves at all? Do they have Private/Random MAC enabled if so disable those, that could be it.
  22. Unplug the R2 from power, wait for 10 seconds, hold the Factory Reset button, while continuing to hold plug the power back into the R2 and keep holding the reset for 30 seconds then release. Wait 2 minutes, then try accessing please and see if you can go through the setup wizard.
