  1. Great thanks, I'll make sure the team look into it.
  2. Is the modem handling PPPoE, i.e. the modem has the PPPoE details so the R2 doesn't have to have them input for internet
  3. We could but it'd definitely be more expensive than buying on online, I'll have a look tomorrow and find one for you!
  4. So that's through the R2 that's connected to the existing router handling PPPoE? Put the R2 in its DMZ as well and that will help
  5. If you can get the modem to handle PPPoE and disable IPv6 then QoS upload will work, it's something we're working on but in the meantime that would be the workaround
  6. Thanks for the report and the steps to reproduce it, I'll make a ticket for it. Could you try it on the .280 firmware and see if it still occurs as well please?
  7. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? What firmware version did you upgrade to and did you factory reset after?
  8. Is it showing with a white circle around it?
  9. Are you using IPv6 or PPPoE by any chance? If so, if you disable IPv6 does the upload work correctly then?
  10. Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated, have a great weekend!
  11. If that is the case then yes they may take a little longer than expected to appear offline, we're working to improve that
  12. I'll have a look around but I'd just be searching with the specs I already mentioned, as long as they're correct any adapter will do
  13. That's right, it won't be the latest publicly available but it will be a firmware that has been out for a while and therefore has less of a chance of causing immediate issues for a user. For WiFi: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Then see if it performs any better. What are the speeds you're seeing through the R2?
  14. No it wouldn't brick, you could try the early access firmware to see if that resolves it
  15. That's great to hear, some weird behavior on the game then!
  16. Ah I see, I'm not sure about the outer package but the inner package would have been opened to flash the router with a more up to date firmware
  17. That's using the R1 on firmware that's over 5 years old so won't be of help in this scenario. Was it .453 you were on previously?
  18. No it wouldn't, potentially damaged in transit but could you provide pictures of what seals were broken exactly?
  19. It could well be due to PPPoE actually, if you have the Homehub handle PPPoE instead what speeds can you then achieve through the R2?
  20. Could you contact your VPN provider and see if they have a config that works with OpenVPN Client Version 2.3.4?
  21. Try the same config again but use this instead for the top part: client remote uae.jumptoserver.com 4443 proto udp dev tun auth-user-pass tls-client nobind mssfix 1450 persist-key persist-tun ping 15 reneg-sec 0 comp-lzo cipher AES-256-CBC auth SHA256
  22. Two others were having a weirdly similar issue actually with that Hong Kong server, could you try this and see if that prevents it happening again? Make sure to set Ping Assist to 0.
  23. Hey, welcome to the forum! What platform are you playing on, PC as well? Did you do the method above to add your PC as a console?
  24. Are you referring to 5G as in like your mobile data or as in a router that has 5GHz WiFi? Do you have a DumaOS router already?
