UniFi bridge AP not connected
Netduma Fraser replied to IrishNomad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The switch you're using is it a managed or unmanaged switch? I've not encountered this issue at all before, is there any support on the Uni side of things that either offers a solution or indicates what the problem could be? -
Firstly, what is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and do you have ALL devices connected to the R2? You don't necessarily need to change Bandwidth Allocation but as above what are your speeds? We usually recommend a starting point of 70/70 for Congestion Control and then experimenting from there to see what works best for you.

UniFi bridge AP not connected

Are you using it with or without the injector? It definitely won't work without it so would have thought it would work with it. On the XR are you seeing it listed in the Device Manager at all? I would assume not. If you connect it to the switch and the switch to the router does it then appear/work? -

I've just had a quick look at the M5, I didn't see a power cable, does it exclusively use PoE? -
Bad Hit Reg. Latency 1 second behind the enemy movements.
Netduma Fraser replied to Oguzhan's topic in Call of Duty Support
It's unnecessary as gaming doesn't use that much bandwidth -

Yes it's a Geo-Filter feature used to filter games so it must be enabled for it to work correctly. Use it as it is now with the console service that is added and it should work. -

Ping Under Load at that rating would indicate that QoS could be fine tuned some more. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Just for download though, your upload is good. You just want to get the download spike on Ping Under Load to bare barely over 10 as you do have some spiking on your line so that will be the best you can get. -

You will be limited really by your location to the servers, it's unlikely you'll be able to get that down significantly so what some people do is force servers a little further away which may play better for you. You can reset Bandwidth Allocation that's unneeded. Could you provide a completed Connection Benchmark test as well please? -

Clear your browser cache/cookies and see if it correctly loads then please. -

¿Podría proporcionar una captura de pantalla de su página Geo-Filter y cómo está configurada, por favor? ¿Obtienes un juego si esperas o necesitas expandir el radio? ¿Estás utilizando Ping Assist? -

Welcome to the forum! What is the average ping you're seeing on the Geo-Filter and in game? What is the closest server to you that you're forcing? What is your physical setup e.g. ISP modem/router > R2 - are all devices connected to the R2? As above, could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? -

If you're not using it then looks like the console service shows you the servers now, if you are using Ping Assist then you'll need to enable the filter of course otherwise you will get servers above that are over that. What ping do you usually get to the game? If you do usually get games under 30 then it should work when enabled. -

It shouldn't, by any chance did you leave your console in an instant on/standby mode then turn it on to play at a later time/day? -
While connected via ethernet, disable WiFi entirely from settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes, access, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then see if you can connect with internet.

How does WoW work, a server browser of sorts or is it matchmaking? Looks like you're in a game there so that icon on the map is a dedicated server most likely rather than for authentication. If the above screenshot is correct then it doesn't look like there are many servers and so you may need to make the radius much bigger when you're trying to filter/work out where those specific servers are located. -

I don't think we've ever tested the game, are you adding it to the Geo-Filter with the manual option so it adds with the Games Console service? -
Internet overall seems worse while using duma.
Netduma Fraser replied to HoodedMenace's topic in Netduma R2 Support
We only use that for instances where there are severe issues, it's also a lot more complicated to setup from the backend than the interface and when it comes to QoS there is no one right setting for everyone. If you can provide a screenshot of the best PingPlotter results you got from the above we can advise from there. -

DMZ passes all traffic through to that device so potentially yes but it's a bit of a security risk, more so on PC. Ideally though fine tuning your QoS would be the best first move and if you've done that then maybe try it -
You can do that, although you don't need to give that much bandwidth to the console, gaming uses very little, 5/5 would be more than enough.

Hello, welcome to the forum! If you're not concerned with using QoS on the R2/having individual control of your other devices then yes you could do this and it would work but our recommended setup would always be to have every device connected to the R2.
