  1. Did you put the R1 in the DMZ on the BT Hub? Yes it would but upload may not work properly on Congestion Control which we're working on resolving.
  2. When you reboot are you waiting at least 2 minutes before accessing?
  3. What do you mean the other features don't work exactly? You will likely get closer to your expected speeds with PPPoE with the R2
  4. Did changing the retries help with the Device Manager loading? You don't want to use HTTPS it will make it slower and potentially cause errors, all you would need to do though is amend the URL. I haven't seen that reloading issue before, are you using routerlogin.net or the IP address?
  5. It'll be a server, just misclassified as a peer icon on the map!
  6. That's an authentication server required for online play, the white circle around it means it's been allowed - either by you adding it to the allow list or because we have whitelisted it. The icon in your radius is the game server so it appears to be working correctly.
  7. That's likely to be the authentication server with the icon inside your radius being the game server
  8. I'm not sure, it depends which router the NAS is connected to, if it's connected to the main router you should be able to access it through either, if you have it connected to the R2 then you'll likely only be able to access it through devices connected to the R2. If you want just games within the radius then yes you must set Ping Assist to 0
  9. Yes but it can get servers outside your radius if the ping is below the value/slightly higher, it's not a ping limit
  10. Hello, No need to make a forum topic, I'll be responding wherever you make contact with us so we can continue in emails. Not that there is no heatmap for CoD, just that they change their servers often and so we have to update it frequently and the plan is to make a workaround that means we don't need to update it as often. I would say the main features are QoS and the Geo-Filter, Ping Heatmap is an additional feature we brought in to help people identify the best servers to force with the Geo-Filter, you can absolutely use the Geo-Filter without it which was the way it was done for many years. The workaround I have mentioned is unlikely to be done that quickly so if Ping Heatmap is absolutely essential to you then I would suggest you return it. I have also responded to your email. They update the servers often which means Heatmap can get out of date fast - it lasted about 3 hours on Friday for example, that's why we're looking for a more permanent workaround as we can't update it every 3 hours as it's a manual process for the moment. It's not always 3 hours, it does last longer that's just an example from Friday.
  11. It would be better to do it at the router level as it will make decisions based on your entire network activity whereas doing it just on the PC will only take into account what that device is doing. I don't think using both would give you an optimal experience.
  13. You shouldn't get anything outside the radius if ping assist is at 0, strict mode is enabled and the Geo-Filter was enabled before launching the game
  14. We were testing it so I'll see where we are at with it but you shouldn't get anything outside the radius if ping assist is at 0, strict mode is enabled and the Geo-Filter was enabled before launching the game
  15. Ahh I see, you won't be able to force with Ping Assist enabled so set that to 0 and see if you have better luck then. I think it's given you the triangle as it recorded a max ping as one point of 100 but looks like the overall result is good so I don't think you need to worry
  16. Yeah I think they've updated it again, I think it only lasted 3 hours if that, I've passed it on and I'm going to see if there is anything more permanent we can do
  17. So the latest information I have at the moment is that from our side everything is done, it passed our testing but we have to wait for some fixes from the Netgear side before that can go ahead so we're just waiting the same as you basically!
  18. Thanks for that, I'll pass this onto the team, it may be the Adblocker then, if you disable that does it work?
  19. The only other thing on the router side I could think would be the Geo-Filter maybe blocking a server, if you disable that do they increase?
  20. So two possibilities: You're blocking each other with the Geo-Filter You're blocking the Discord servers with the Geo-Filter Either way you'll need to do some allowing, you can see how to do so at the bottom of this guide: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter If you're not blocking each other/you have each other allowed and it's not working then try to join Discord and look on the map for a blocked server, then add it to the allow list in the same way and you should be able to join each other properly. It might take a few tries if there are multiple servers to get them all allowed. Any Discord servers you come across that need to be allowed, if you provide us with the IDs we can get them added to the whitelist.
  21. You can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/145-nighthawk-pro-gaming-beta/
  22. No worries, sorry there isn't more we can do, it's just out of the scope of what a router is capable of.
  23. No we can't impact the routing in that regard unfortunately. The only way I can think of currently that might help other than using a VPN as you mentioned is to obtain a static IP from the ISP (they may charge for this), if we assume that this is a premium service they provide then it is likely that they will give you an IP that is correctly located in your country and then you may get better routing to servers within your country. Might be worth exploring it and asking what IP you would get (they might not be able to tell you right away) and then you could check its location before proceeding.
  24. We've just done this, if you resync the cloud it should be working again
