Okay so there shouldn't be anything blocking their connection then unless you have Adblocker on, disable that and then see. If not it may be worth checking support for the extenders specifically to see what troubleshooting they recommend. What are the actual speeds you're getting via ethernet through the 1000 to speedtest.net? When are the rules disappearing, after doing something specific?

Internet overall seems worse while using duma.

I just wanted to know if you had disabled share excess, actually better to leave it on. Don't worry about Benchmark now, it uses the Google servers which it doesn't appear you have a great connection to. Follow this guide while saturating your connection with downloads and fine tune it that way: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping -
Is this on the Early Access firmware? In DHCP Settings, set the DHCP lease time to 168 hours, apply, reboot from the interface and see if it's more stable after that. Change the time back to the normal time from the top right, that may have caused it

Reset Bandwidth Allocation - have you disabled Share Excess? No percentage whatsoever changes the graph shown for Ping Under Load? -
Virgin don't use PPPoE so that won't be the issue here. Are the extenders receiving an IP address on the XR1000 Device Manager? Have you set your expected speeds via Bandwidth Settings? How are you doing the reservation exactly? Are you deleting any devices from the Device Manager? Disabling Armor, clearing browser cache/cookies and ensuring you're not accessing using HTTPS will speed up the interface. We haven't released any betas for it since it's launch.

Multi router setup

Should basically be exactly as the R1, connect it to the BT Hub, complete the Setup Wizard on the XR and you should get internet, have you completed the wizard? -

Don't use Auto Setup, Ping Under Load at that rating would indicate that QoS needs to be fine tuned some more. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. -
As above, has a factory reset resolved this for you?
-
You could block it for any reason you like, the most common reason is because the server doesn't play well so yes would be a good idea to do so. As long as there are plenty of servers blocking one won't cause a problem.

Could you provide the error that you're seeing exactly? That will help us identify what the potential problem is. You could provide a screenshot as well if it's easier. Try accessing via 192.168.1.1 and see if that works for you. -

Matchmaking issue with Geo-filter
Netduma Fraser replied to Kyle's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you could try that would be really helpful, would indicate if it's just an issue with this game, in which case it could be a bad cloud update for example -
We can't really troubleshoot old firmware as it's old and won't have as many fixes, best to upgrade, what are the issues you're having on the new ones exactly?

Please Help! Geo-Filter Doesn't work!!
Netduma Fraser replied to helton MT's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
When you did the factory reset did you go through the Setup Wizard after as it would definitely have been cleared with a factory reset. Otherwise, it's likely because you deleted the device that was added to the Geo-Filter previously from the Device Manager, reconnect the device in the same way and give it the same name/device type and that should eliminate the error. -

When you're playing in the game have a look at the Network Monitor on the router, is it showing the PC using any traffic at all? -
Best thing to do is just give it a try, see what works best for you. With your speeds yes QoS is less of a requirement and more of a nice to have but only takes 1 download to be in lag city so always a good idea to use QoS in my opinion and with Traffic Prio gaming can be prioritized so it won't be in a queue.
