The v2 has a comparable hardware change that needed to happen to keep selling the router but functionally there is no difference. "Does this mean once finally tested the XR1000 version will be the same as the Netduma R2?" It will bring it more in line with the current offering on the R2 yes!

I totally get your point, I'm just saying without the router you'd likely be worse off, the game could put you in the US for example and you would have no control. QoS is still helpful regardless of the server location as well.

That is a hard question to answer, there is no one size fits all scenario, every connection is different, there are lots of variables, we can make general recommendations but really the best settings are the ones you find work best for your particular connection. I could give you some recommendations and they could work terribly for you but great for someone else for example. In general I would suggest that if you already have an Open NAT there is no real need to change UPnP/Port Forwarding/DMZ. For Traffic Prio I'm a fan of the Games Console service personally.

Hey, welcome to the forum! How do you have it connected to the router? It's possible that it will have a different name than you're expecting, check the IP on the PS itself then try to match that with the devices shown on the Device Manager and then if necessary you can re-name it.

Okay so just to clarify, for this one you were able to remove the TP and then you got roughly the same speeds as you did through the TP through the R2? If so then it will be what I mentioned previously, devices connecting to the TP taking bandwidth away from the R2. You could try disabling QoS and see if that boosts the speed but then you are losing that feature. Ideally you would have the R2 connected to the Arris, then you could connect the TP in AP mode to the R2.

I can't view those files but for the R2 are you just checking on Benchmark? What do you get on speedtest.net for example? As you've seen you've decreased on the TP so the R2 will see a decrease from that as well, especially with devices from the TP able to take bandwidth away from the R2.

I keep chasing but it's a hard one, it appears as though everything has been whitelisted and then we can't reproduce it, you seem to be the only person having the issue as well which makes it a harder one to resolve but we're still investigating. Were you on the testers cloud by any chance? As we've removed everyone from that today so if you resync then you'll download the normal cloud again which may help.

Do you still have the ISP provided router you can try with?

Does it work if you connect directly to your modem?
