  1. It looks like you're using Chrome which may be forcing you to connect to the interface with HTTPS which could be causing the errors, follow this to make sure it connects using HTTP: https://howchoo.com/webdev/stop-chrome-from-automatically-redirecting-https/ Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if you can see servers. However, the way Fortnite works is that it only tries to connect to a server when you're actually loading into the game and so that is the only time it can be blocked so you are kicked back to the lobby. For Fortnite it's best to disable filtering mode but still use it to find out what server you're on, if it's too far away then you could quit and re-search until you find the server you want. This would actually be quicker than letting the Geo-Filter kick you.
  2. To answer your questions: Generally I would suggest leaving Ping Assist at 0, Auto Ping Host I would always leave on except in the instance where you'll add your friend to the allow list (more on that below). You can play around with the settings based on the game you're playing but that's what I would suggest overall. Strict Mode I would highly recommend you have always on and Fast mode have off. The main feature is the radius/polygon mode, Ping Assist is an assist to these modes, the idea was so that you never miss the chance for a good game. However, it can lead to you getting a game above that ping sometimes. I would suggest utilizing Ping Heatmap to find the closest/lowest ping servers then setting your Geo-Filter radius accordingly. Check the bottom of this guide for how to add your friend: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter generally it'll show as a peer icon, basically best to just be in a lobby, then when you invite them it will be the only icon appearing on the map. The host you're playing on will always be the biggest icon on the map so in the above picture it's the big server icon. If I were you - entirely up to you, I would remove the servers from allow/deny - I'm not sure how you're using this - you don't need to allow/block every server you come across as the radius handles that. Just use it for particularly good/bad servers that you either wouldn't mind connecting to again or don't want to connect to again and for adding friends. Then do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client This will ensure it blocks most effectively when you launch the game. You don't need to do this every time but I would suggest doing it from the start.
  3. I know it's the router, which aspect of the router is the important part, could you download the full logs so I can have a look at it further please?
  4. Some games do unfortunately handle matchmaking like that, I haven't played Siege for awhile so I don't recall if that is what it was like before. Just in case: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.
  5. It doesn't require internet to access the interface, so do you have access or not then if you're seeing those errors?
  6. Just tried again but no access, is it still in the DMZ? Was it the 192.168.1.223 IP you put in the DMZ? If so check the R2 System Information page to see if the IP may have changed
  7. It's a dedicated server game so you won't have direct connections to them, it just shows connections, sometimes you may see peer icons on the map initially but it's not a representation of DumaOS users
  8. The way you have setup is fine though you could try direct to the socket. However, if you want to continue using the Hub then on the R2 System Information page copy the WAN IP, then access the Hub and find the DMZ option and paste the IP in there. Then make sure all devices are connected to the R2 and see how it is after that. For WiFi try this: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  9. Try forcing servers slightly further away, if lag compensation is affecting you then this could counteract it and give you a better experience
  10. You said previously your connection is 500mb download and 250 upload, have you upgraded since then? Are ALL devices connected to the R2?
  11. I would suggest setting Ping Assist to 0, it is an assist not a hard limit so it can allow you to have servers slightly higher, by using the radius exclusively you'll ensure connections to servers close to you which should give a low ping. It appears you manually pinged a server which is for IPv6/authentication so I don't think that will actually be the game server. Best to leave Auto Ping enabled as that will always automatically ping your game server and that is then the only ping you need to worry about. Add your friend to your allow list so you can connect to them regardless of your settings if you haven't done so already. Some games may split the party rather than throw you both back to the lobby if one person can't connect to the server. If that's the case in this scenario then there isn't anything we can do about it unfortunately - your friend would have to have an R2 as well to mirror your Geo-Filter settings to ensure you get into the same games.
  12. ¿Lo tienes en Siempre, Habilitar automáticamente o Nunca?
  13. The upgrade was sent through yesterday so it should be updated, check the top right of the interface, does it show .280 now?
  14. Don't worry about the Auto Setup aspect, QoS needs to be fine tuned some more. Start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved.
  15. If you're hosting a game then players are connecting to you directly is that right? In which case you shouldn't enable the Geo-Filter as you could block them. So you should instead focus on QoS to ensure your connection is as steady as possible for people to connect to you.
  16. Looks like you're playing on Xbox, you should select the Manual option when adding it to the Geo-Filter and it will add with the Games Console service which will allow you to filter games without switching the service every time.
  17. So you'll need to copy the WAN IP from the System Information page on the R2 and put that in the DMZ feature on your Zyxel router otherwise we won't be able to connect tomorrow
  18. Great thanks, did you need to put the WAN IP in the DMZ or do you have a pure modem that the R2 is connected to (it doesn't give out WiFi)?
  19. We'll push through an upgrade for you, that should resolve it. In WAN Settings enable remote support, then go to the System Information page and copy the WAN IP and enter that into your ISP modem/router DMZ (if applicable), then post back here with a device connected to the router and we'll push through an upgrade. Don't unplug it at all until we've got that sorted.
  20. Keep us posted, you'll want to toggle Enable 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, if you've toggled it to off all the options below should grey out, then save, then reboot from the interface and it should have saved.
  21. In what sense? Nothing has changed so should be the same.
  22. No ethernet is the best way, reboot from the interface then try to access as fast as possible and upgrade immediately and see if that takes. How are you disabling WiFi exactly? Are you just disabling Mirror Mode?
  23. AP mode disables DumaOS, if the issue wasn't then present then it would be an issue for Netgear specifically to look into. Do you still have access to the interface when the issue happens? If so could you get the log from the System Information page please?
  24. Make your settings changes, then reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access. Then when you unplug it (shouldn't need to) it should keep your settings without loading the Setup Wizard. Are you trying to upgrade over WiFi or ethernet?
  25. We usually suggest starting at 70% and then adjusting from there based on your experience
