Good to hear you've had an improved experience. Yes it can handle that load. I don't know what your speeds are still, ignore the in built speed test/optimizer and set speeds manually and adjust Congestion Control manually until you get the best results possible. CoD does block pings so not seeing a ping for it is normal, we may have a workaround but couldn't say when/if that may be implemented/work.

Where are you measuring the packet loss? Are all devices losing connection? Does it come back by itself or do you need to reboot? How often is it happening? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? I've given you Early Access so you can try the firmware there: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ In Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save. Do that each device you're noticing the disconnects on. Then in DHCP > Advanced change the lease time to 10000, save, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please. For WiFi: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
-
Gaming requires very little bandwidth so the amounts shown are actually accurate but if disabling it works better for you that's fine, we just provide the tools, it's up to you how you use them. You could also try disabling gaming and prioritizing the device instead.

Not sure what you mean but also you should really do it on a wired PC if possible. If you don't have ALL devices connected to the router they should be, any connected to your ISP modem/router can negatively affect it. The ISP modem/router should also be in modem/bridge mode or have the router in its DMZ.
-
Exactly as above, change percentage, retest, rinse repeat until you get the best values you can get
-
Your ping is good so unlikely to be anything specifically on your end. Try forcing different servers even if the ping is slightly higher it may play better
-
That ping is absolutely fine - are you actually getting games within your Geo-Filter radius?

I've given you Early Access so you can update to the firmware there to see if it improves: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Try these suggestions: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ If it continues after the update and trying these suggestions please provide the logs when it next happens.

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's from February last year, you've been added: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ -
There aren't any statistics you've provided like the ping you're getting, where you're located, what Geo-Filter settings you're using etc for me to really answer that question. There are also variables like the server load that can impact it that are out of the routers control

I think there is some improvement but may not get you all the way, I've added you so you can check -

From your video, the way you're resetting is just restarting it. Hold it in for 30 seconds, release, wait 4 minutes before you try accessing the interface - it needs time to boot up properly - close the tab before you do the reset. It would also help if you have the R3 connected to your ISP modem/router so it can get internet for the Setup Wizard. Then keep WiFi detail, enter password for WiFi password and continue. If it shows that waiting to connect page just wait at least 1 minutes and it should show it has connected so you can continue.

Battlefield 6 Beta Game mode (boost, QOS) not working
Netduma Fraser replied to Redflame's topic in EE WiFi Enhancer support
Does sound like you're on it unfortunately, appreciate you providing an update, good luck with it. You're very welcome! -
You can't update it without access to the interface. Factory reset the router so you start the setup wizard from the beginning again, then set the username/password as admin / password as that's the default, see if you can get past then
-
Refresh and then it should prompt you to enter the username/password again, then enter the new details you set
-
That's fine, if 95% is what you've found works best for you
-
The authorization required indicates the wrong user/password has been entered or that was cancelled. Try just accessing http://192.168.77.1 and see if it prompts you to login and go from there
-
Yes that's normal as the extender itself isn't actually using any traffic, it's just a bridge essentially for the devices connected to it to connect directly to the router, that's why the Xbox shows like it is connected directly to the router. However, as it's not directly connected it may struggle to read the traffic properly though it could just be that we need to update the detection for whatever games you're playing
-
Not sure what you mean exactly but the ports are limited to 1Gbps so that's the maximum that can be entered.

I Have a Huge Kurfuffle
Netduma Fraser replied to mygamertagsucks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
As above, devices will show the DNS of the router they're connected to and then will use the DNS the router has set -
What is the model of the modem/router the R1 is connected to and how did you set the DMZ on it exactly? Did you give the R1 a static/reserved IP on it to ensure it doesn't change so the DMZ is always valid? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?

Can I use TCPdump on the R3 via ssh ?
Netduma Fraser replied to 18RayF's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No that isn't possible, we don't allow SSH access -
