  1. Potentially but I doubt it to be honest, I think it would have to be a reset. Generally at the time of posting any major bugs we have found have been dealt with, otherwise if there is anything major we know of then we will mention it. People generally expect some bugs when trying beta firmware and that you might need to reset more often and that's where the feedback is really helpful so we can fix things like this. You could do the backup option in settings and then restore it after the reset but as it's the Netgear backup it may not save every part of DumaOS and there is a chance it could re-introduce the issue.
  2. Okay that's good, I think it's an issue on our side but not specifically a firmware issue, I'll pass it on and see what we can do.
  3. You can switch to another range if you wish to. I think it's most likely QoS interfering, if you disable it fully from the Congestion Control menu does it all work as expected then?
  4. I replied to your topic but yes you will need to factory reset unfortunately, it will get fixed
  5. I think you probably rebooted the router with the VPN enabled is that right? If so that is a bug where it can happen, if you want to regain access to the VPN you would have to factory reset unfortunately.
  6. What is the model of the Google router/modem? Better to continue here rather than DMs. Is it a pure modem i.e. no WiFi?
  7. That was a XR series bug to related to the Netgear developed settings so isn't applicable here. I've not encountered anything like that so far
  8. I have sent this in a direct message to you on the forum. You're welcome!
  9. It was removed due to an issue but will make it back in the next version. Nothing specifically you need to do QoS related for the PS, DumaOS Classified Games is enabled by default and will prioritize any games you're playing on the console. Make sure you're using Congestion Control either Always or Auto Enable with a value less than 100% (we usually suggest 70% as a starting point) and you're good to go.
  10. If you make a new topic for your issue I'm sure we can get it resolved
  11. I can send you a screenshot from the order as it appears on the backend for us if you would like it for your records?
  12. If you're using 3rd party tests they can be impacted by Traffic Prioritization which is why it may not appear as good. We have done work though to improve the tests and overall QoS will be better.
  13. Ahh well done for getting it all sorted! If you look at the top right of the interface is should say .280 at the end, that's the latest public version
  14. We use https://speed.measurementlab.net/#/ for the speed part of the test, if you go to that website and do a test does it complete successfully?
  15. I haven't heard back yet, thanks for the reminder, I'll chase them.
  16. Thank you for the suggestion, I believe someone else suggested this recently as well, I'll add it to the list!
  17. Netgear es la empresa fabricante en este caso, solo somos un socio de software, enviamos cambios y esperamos a que creen el firmware, de ahí el retraso.
  18. No we don't have a value for that but it should cover the average sized home at the very least We always try to include the relevant power adapter for the country it is being sent to so as you do use the same power adapter as us that will be shipped to you! I have resent it, double check spam as well It will be resolved yes! I have resent it, double check spam as well
  19. We're going as fast as we can! Shouldn't be much longer now
  20. Nothing specifically relating to that that I am aware of but everything is improved. If a device is going into standby/instant on modes then that could be the cause
  21. There isn't any settings on the router you would need to change, it would all depend on the system you go with
  22. With Bandwidth Allocation at its default settings devices connected to the AP will still have the ability to get full speed
  23. If all goes to plan you should have it by Xmas. That's understandable, from a pure software standpoint, it's unlikely the XR700 will receive any more major updates (e.g. new features) and going on from that the R3 will have DumaOS 4 which has new features like Anti-Jitter and QoS updates that will work wonders for larger households (more on that later). More frequent updates and new features coming. Obviously the hardware on the XR700 is still a beast even compared to the R3 but does it have RGB? 😄
  24. Yes the XR500 does have an AP mode so you could use that with the R3
  25. That is very strange, are you accessing the router using a bookmark? Copy the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page, enter that in your ISP modem/router DMZ and then on the R2 WAN Settings enable remote support then post back here from a device connected to the R2 and we can attempt to force an upgrade through tomorrow.
